Her moogle introduced himself as Frankie. He was a smaller moogle with off-white fur and a misshapen pom-pom adorning his head. He didn't seem like a bad moogle but Selphie was only paying partial attention to his prattling about the world. Her memory was akin to piece of swiss cheese. It was that full of holes as she tried to remember something about this place. She was freshly discharged from the hospital and sporting clothes that didn't suit her.
She caught snippets of Frankie's lecture. Light warriors. This world was slowly being swallowed by crystal and she had to help save it. She'd already help to save one world, wasn't that enough? Wait... had they even won? She'd been wandering in Time Compression when everything had faded away to nothing. She was still a bit confused on some of the details but she bobbed her head as Frankie continued teaching.
"Oi, kupo," Frankie said impatiently. "Are you even listening, kupo?"
"Huh...?" Selphie asked reflexively with a sunny smile. "Yeah... of course I'm listening! The best listener you'll ever encounter."
Frankie looked at the girl suspiciously before levelling her with a flat look. "Right, you're listening."
"Of course!" Selphie exclaimed.
The perky brunette wasn't paying attention to her surroundings as she walked right into someone. She squeaks in surprise before stumbling back. A small flail occurred before Selphie tripped over her own feet and promptly landed on her rear.

She laughed sheepishly. "Oh! Sorry about that..."
