She is surprised by the voice since she wasn't anyone to be in the area. It only takes a moment for Yachiru to spot both Ventus and his weapon-mounted bird. Giving the Keyblade a curious glance, she blinks before smiling at Ventus and giving him a cheerful little wave.

"Hii!" Looking down at all the things she has collected, she nods. "Yeah, the old man said I had to find treasure to make sure Kyupi stayed my birdie. So, I went looking for stuff. But finding the stuff was fun, so we kept looking. Now, Kyupi taking a nap."

She gives the sleeping Chocobo a little pat.
