Rukia's eyes widened slightly. But that couldn't be possible. If he'd been pulled here from that time, his absence definitely wouldn't have gone unnoticed. She would have felt his reiatsu vanish. Could it be, then, that no one knew she was absent from their world as well?

She looked away, battling with indecision. There was a lot she could tell him, but should she? Would it alter the outcome of things that hadn't yet come to pass? Would he even want to know?
