Character: [OU] Sephiroth Canon: Final Fantasy VII Info: SOLIDER's best and most legendary swordsman. Eventual all time villain/antagonist/anti-hero of the series yet thanks to Crystallis has now been majorly spoiled with regards to the same. Tall, long silver-hair that never seems to have a bad day whether he wears it up or down. Also, despite the fact he's no longer Mako-infused puts a lot of effort into keeping his physique up to standard. For more details there is wiki link (here) or check out my info post which also contains an early "Show Us the Goods"- he hasn't changed that much. -- Job(s): Warrior (MAX) & Ghostbuster (5 Mnth) - he needs to change these soon but am waiting for a Job Request to come back. Reserves, he's got almost a full-deck given the Onion Knight bonus of 10 so check it out on my Info post. Housing: B-09, he moved in with Terra and now there is Elena and Darres this round; however he's seldom seen around the house since he officially returned to Esdham on duty from 5th November. Other Housing: Military Barracks; as Major working his way up to Colonel if Sephiroth does still share facilities with others he's bound to have a lot more personal space now than he did when he first enlisted. Moogle: Spencer is a small, pale, nerdy moogle with spectacles and bookwormish habits. Over the more-than a year of being partnered with Sephiroth, though he doesn't make it known very often, he knows his hero now better than Sephiroth gives him credit for. Sometimes, in fact quite often, he'll remark quietly and bring Sephiroth to silence in order to reconsider based on the intelligent input of the little guy. As a result, the value of Spencer's opinion has grown exponentially (ignoring the terrible date auction idea). -- Status: Sephiroth has reached something of a somewhat-partly depressed stagnation point where, although when push comes to shove he will act as the 'Hero' he is by default, he's losing the incentive to put effort into resolving things in Crystallis at large. Everytime he's gotten himself involved in some way it's ended badly, and quite often with severe blows not only to his confidence but indeed his entire sense of self. Though he's persuaded himself to return to work (Esdham, see below) he's still got a tonne of other responsibilities that do not clearly correlate with the 'push to solve all of this' that others might have. Mograma is one of those responsibilities, and Sephiroth will return to Aqures Ixen on a weekly basis to perform his part of the monitoring of the troublesome black-mage moogle; picking where he can at what might be the secret to return the mako-strength that he should have (Mission he just got given for Paladin job). Terra is the other, larger part of his greater responsibility; whom he's taken on the task of personally protecting her happiness and well being, where he (thinks he) can't be a big enough Hero to everyone else. Having had a great deal of his post-canon point path revealed to him Sephiroth is still reeling from the great identity-crisis he's landed in as a result, feeling entirely useless in the grand scheme of things and exactly what role he should fill. After all, even if they should defeat the Calamity here and go home...he's nothing to go home to but a future that he certainly doesn't want. Employment: Sephiroth is ranked Major at Esdham and is likely known as the Hero of Light who commanded the Esdham assistance to Hera in the Battle of Aqures Ixen. In which 300 or so Esdham soldiers lost their lives, but the Imperial attack receded and much of the City was saved. -- Plans: Other than Military, Terra and Mograma duties I don't have a great deal planned at all with Sephiroth. I signed him up for the Expedition regardless as it seemed to make sense given as he's wanting to prove he has what it takes to make Colonel and the information he could report on could be valuable to Esdham also. I put a request in for him to take up Paladin as a new Job too, as he does need to expand his current skill set rather than just sitting and missing his Mako-strength as he often does. Sephiroth is a character that quite often needs to be given objectives to go off and fulfill, even if he can be a strong leader-type as well so it's hard sometimes for me to make plans that suit him. Desired CR: Needs being-a-Hero CR, needs sparring CR, needs CR that's supporting him but not necessarily telling him that 'they're there', needs confidence/ego re-building CR...I'm sure there is a lot more. ALSO, see Shipping section below. Undesired Things: He needs a break from the doom-n-gloom, reality-scarring shocks for a bit while he tries to chew on the various issues he has with himself. I'd like to avoid CR where this could potentially be pushed in the wrong way as he could easily snap/go psychopathic currently in game. Shipping: The initial signing up as a bodyguard for Terra Branford has developed well passed the point of simply being a professional arrangement/comfortable in her company. At this point, she's figured out more of how she feels towards him than he is allowing himself to figure out how he feels about her. Mostly out of defensive, stubborn habits he's keeping tight to his chest so he doesn't open himself up at all. However, it's quickly getting to that tipping point where it's getting too obvious to ignore; ANY HELP in bringing this out would be greatly appreciated! Additional Comment: GMT + Full-time Job + Fitness regime might mean sometimes tags might take a few days to come back. If there is anything, ever, that you want/need to handwave just contact me and we'll work it out.
