Yuri stopped a good foot away from the wild animal and raised a brow at it before seeing if it made any attempt to move away. It didn't seem like it, so he reached out to it and settled a hand on its head. Perhaps that is so, but Yuri had never seen himself to be anyone special. He did what he thought was right, and he understood the consequences of his decisions.

"Bummer. I figured it'd probably like to be fed. You could get its attention that way, but look at this, he's pretty docile."
