Rukia was on the move fairly often. Before, she'd made the commute from Aqures Ixen to Esdham almost religiously, due to her military duties. Now? She felt it was necessary to step outside of the cities she knew so well and get to know the other nations. The information they needed was out there somewhere, and it wouldn't be found if she puttered around in the same old places.
Once she'd stashed her belongings below deck in the shared cabin she'd opted to reserve, not particularly caring who her bunkmate would be, she came topside to enjoy the fresh air. Maybe they'd let her climb up to the crow's nest this time...
As she emerged, she caught sight of a man with long white hair, and she knew only one person who matched that description.
"Colonel Sephiroth," she smiled, folding her arms as she approached from behind. "Has something happened to your shirt, or did you lose a bet?" Rukia smirked. A little friendly ribbing with her superior officer was fine, as long as there weren't any other troops around to mistake the camaraderie for disrespect.
...Actually, his arms were a little more tanned than she remembered the warrior being...
