Sending out letters was definitely kind of a random idea on her part, but she thought that perhaps she would get a friend or two out of it. At least that's how the naive princess, thought. A simple mindset from a girl who was all but worldly and still had yet to meet all kinds of people, even if she's met many. She trusted her own skills to defend herself, so she wasn't afraid if she ended up meeting someone who was less than savory.
What she had expected was a written letter back. Something of sorts to introduce themselves and then she would have a pen pal! It sounded really wonderful! After all, the young woman loved to write and any excuse to do so, really. However, meeting people was that much more amazing, even if the knock at her door had her looking to it in confusion. She hadn't been expecting anyone, really. Unless it was one of her friends.
Opening the door, she saw the woman on the other side and greeted her with a bright smile.
"Oh, hello! May I help you with anything?"
Of course she wouldn't jump to conclusions, at all about the letter she had sent to the random addressees. Then again, her small world meant that not all viable options were going to come to her at the moment of how someone may respond.
