Well, that's a voice he can recognize on the spot. And on the spot he pretty much expects a poke of the parasol, as he winces, trying to jump away from her. Really, she has him read, but then again, Zaveid's not that hard to read once people are around him long enough, sadly.

He can't even feign the pain, because the poke of that parasol is deadly as he rubs his back from where the tip of her weapon hit him. Ain't she a little weapon of mass destruction with that thing. "If you wanted to know what I was thinking, all ya had to do was ask."
He knows he doesn't want to know, but it just adds to their little comedy routine.
