Anxiety and nervousness seem to cause animals fear to some extent. Yuri kind of picks up on the weird details here and there. He keeps patting the creature for a moment before turning back to Estelle. He certainly thinks she has good intentions but it's hard if she's always nervous.

"I wouldn't call it affinity. Honestly, I just get bit by them, if anything," as he eyed Repede for the joke he made. How many times did that pup bite his arm, face, and everything else in between? He can't even remember the last time Repede hasn't bitten him when he was a puppy. Now, he's a bit better. He still get butts sometimes and bites if he's being too mean to his dog.

Honestly, Estelle was one of those people that he never thought he'd get along with but the girl was a good friend and she worked hard. On top of that the small things about her is what makes her Estelle. He wouldn't really change that for anything.

"You want to give it a try again? Try not to be too anxious."

He mused offering the chocobo to her. He has it in firm hold at least.
