#1 Speaking of gross wet sobbing...

[This is the first time Chrom has a chance to greet the newly awakened, given that he was in the last round of Heroes who appeared in the city. Did he expect to see someone he knew? He did not. But, as a diplomat-in-training, he felt it was in his best interests to welcome the new Heroes and see to it that their needs were met. It was shocking to see your reality fall apart and wake up in a foreign world, and as the experience was still relatively fresh in his mind, he felt he was well-suited to the task.]

[He just wishes he could have lost more of the gut he gained after spending a month wearing the Santa Claus outfit that came with the job. Chrom was one of the unlucky few who got a little...pudgy. He never wants to eat another cookie again.]

[Leaving the armor at home, save for the shoulder-guards nothing else fits, he still walks with the same proud stride he always his, the white cloak fluttering at his ankles, sword at his hip.]

[The Moogles were as punctual as ever, he sees, the air thick with foot-tall balls of white fluff zooming here and there to helpfully explain the situation to a group of confused heroes.]

[The sound of desperate sobbing catches his attention. That would probably be the person who needed him most, he reasoned, so he turns in that direction and begins making his way through the crowd.]

[The friendly smile he wore drops immediately as he comes to a shaky stop, gray-blue eyes growing wide.]

Emm...?

[He'd recognize his sister anywhere. Even if it was just someone who looked very much like her, there's no way anyone else would bear the brand of the Exalt on her brow. The kindness reflected on her face as she comforted her little Moogle was unmistakable. He'd seen that look a thousand times as she consoled Ylisse's people without hesitation, and without fear of exposing herself to the masses.]

EMM!

[If she didn't hear him the first time, the second time he shouts her name as he surges forward with sudden desperation, as if she'd slip out of his life if he didn't reach her in time.]
