Being irritated when Jaeha was around was a perfectly natural reaction. Jaeha himself was clearly unruffled by the cutting remarks. The man was blind and bitter, so of course he wouldn't know how to appreciate the help of a good-looking gentleman.
"Of course it's true. I'm a straightforward kind of guy," he said, holding out his gloved hands in the semblance of a shrug. "If our natural powers worked, we wouldn't be speaking right now. I'd have left this city long ago, as I have no interest in playing hero to an omnipotent crystal either."
But it seemed as if Isa had his fill of the Ryokuryuu for one day (or several), so he decided to leave him be for now. Perhaps they would talk later, once the initial stress had passed. "I'd say I'll see you around, but who knows, hm?"
