Rufus looked irritated at Reno's blunt comment. It didn't take him long to figure out why Reno reacted that way, but he was getting agitated by his reactions, his patience finally wearing thin.

"Our living arrangement won't change." It was undoubtedly going to be awkward, but Rufus thought that he could push past that. He was confident that he could. As long as Reno didn't bring it up, maybe he could just pretend that nothing happened between them. Which. Nothing did happen in his view, but he wasn't sure if that was worse or not.
