The purpose of this meme is simple: to expand your characters' CR, plot for current & future events and make your characters' lives unnecessarily complicated. Character: [OU] Chrom
Canon: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Info: Chrom is a boring goodie two-shoes, and pretty much the equivalent of a prince/king even though he doesn't bring it up in conversations. He loves swords. He loves helping people. Sometimes he gets set on fire.
Job(s): Paladin/Dark Knight = CRYSTAL KNIGHT he's so embarrassed by that gaudy armor
Housing: B-12
Other Housing: Military barracks in Esdham, occasionally rents a room at the inn (or camps) in Santa Village while helping the refugees to get settled in.
Moogle: Kulevi - A tech-savvy and spirited Moogle, who's cunning and confident.
Status: Chrom feels a little overwhelmed, but he generally shuffles this to the side because there's too much work to be done trying to save everybody. He works hard, and generally goes after diplomatic missions to unify other governments and cities, even though he signed up for the military just to work alongside Robin and support her. He would honestly love more opportunities to fight things with his sword, but he's trying hard to be a good future-exalt, so the other duties are seen as preparation for this. He's dating Robin, and plans to propose to her when the time seems right.
Employment: He's a private in the Esdham military, but spends more time helping refugees and such.
Plans: Though Chrom ICly wants to focus on jobs that involve swords, I'd love to have him wind up taking some unconventional jobs to push him outside of his comfort zone (like being a mecha pilot because omfg that would be amazing). I'm always up for more plans that let him be on fire too, because it's a hilarious tradition.
Desired CR: Chrom is traditional and boring. Good CR is good, negative CR is great. He'll pretty much be anyone's friend, and trusts people quickly, so if you need someone who's got your back and lets you do your own thing, Chrom's a great pal to have around.
Undesired Things: I dunno. Slash ships. Chrom is not into dudes.
Shipping: Chrom loves his lady tactician, and he's unfaltering in his loyalty. You can have a crush on him if you like, but he can't return anyone else's feelings.

I'm secretly hoping that at some point Sephiroth might learn that Chrom is big on the refugee front at the same time as being involved with the military. That'd raise a few eyebrows for sure since Hera was their enemy until, well, it was conveniently crystallized. Sephiroth is almost too prejudiced over the idea of Heroes helping Herans when to him they've been the cause of so much loss/destruction already.

He'd not be too much of a fan of Chrom's overwhelming goody-two-shoes-ness but I guess swords might be a common interest :p

He'd be happy to explain the politics behind it, if asked. He hasn't really been hiding it, and made a letter asking for help with the refugees last month, so that's perfectly fine. Raise as many eyebrows as you like! After all, Chrom wasn't here to see the bad stuff.

He'd get the politics but he's not a big fan of them. Overcomplicates things. I did see the letter but think I was on hiatus at the time so-

I think, potentially we could have a thread where Sephiroth might corner Chrom over it at Esdham. Kind of sold as a 'I'm not going to report you to the higher-ups but just so you know-' -> Thoughts?
