Upon arriving in Crystallis, the first thing Monica notices isn't her new surroundings, the weird circumstances, or even the crowd of confused people around her-- it's the adorable little creature that's been assigned to her. Enamored with its cuteness, she picks up the Moogle and starts spinning around with it high in the air, cooing about how adorable it is and completely ignoring anything it has to say.
"Um, Miss, could you put me down kupo, I need to tell you about--"
"And you have such an adorable voice!" She brings the Moogle down and starts rubbing her face against it, much to the Moogle's dismay. It just wants to do its intro spiel, but Monica is having none of it.
[ 3 ] Unfortunately for those living near her, Monica is in fact that neighbor/roomie who loves to sing yet can't hold a tune to save her life. She's happily humming to herself as she decorates her side of the room, flitting about with an overwhelming amount of pink bedding and white roses. One can only wonder where and how she managed to obtain all of it so soon after arriving in Crystallis.
Eventually, she finishes her decorating spree and stands back to admire her handiwork-- still humming with the grace of a screeching violin.
"There we go! Now it feels much more like home."
[ 9 ] Of all the monsters to run into, why did it have to be a giant bug. Why did it have to be a giant spider. Not to mention as a white mage, Monica's woefully unequipped to be taking on any kind of monster on her own. She's trying to put on a brave face, staff at the ready, as she stands against the horrid monstrosity, but honestly? She's frozen solid.
