Hello! This month, the Fairy Tail guild might be trying to get as many people with max Dark Knight and Paladin as they can, to try to duplicate the Crystal Knight ability that grants immunity to jobs being disabled. (Levy-mun is talking about it with the mods.)

Otherwise, the rest of what we've been jokingly calling Team Diplomacy would love more help.

Info: Former mad scientist turned army colonel turned scientist again, this time with less madness involved. Jade's got a sarcastic streak, but he can be pleasant when he wants to and more or less tries to do the right thing. Also canon party's Team Dad, although he'd never admit it.
Job(s): Currently White Mage & Custom Job. He's mostly focused on mage Jobs.
Housing: B-14
Other Housing: N/A
Moogle: Rosepuff, overly affectionate and easy to rile up.
Status: Past events have dragged some personal issues to the surface, but Jade's adjusting. He's being pretty pragmatic about the whole situation and dedicating his time to finding solutions. Fairly stable overall, if still feeling kind of guilty about murdering people in the Enemy Within event. He's also one month away from maxing ten Jobs!
Employment: Used to be in Esdham military, now a full-time researcher at Palitutu's lab.
Plans: For this month, I'm planning on throwing Jade at the Esdham meeting and probably letting him get murdered. Otherwise I'm trying to focus on backtags, but new things aren't out of the question if someone wants him for anything.
Desired CR: Anything goes! Jade's available either as a responsible adult or a horrible, horrible troll. Possibly both at once, somehow. I'd love to have more people for him to annoy.
Undesired Things: Perma-death. I'm open to most things.
Shipping: Ship teasing is fine, but anything more definite is pretty unlikely.
Additional Comment: I've been struggling with tags for a while due to health reasons (as you may have noticed). Will do my best to catch up!

I'm still kind of waiting to see where their event thread will go to decide where he and Santa might be standing right now, but I am so looking forward to see them bond through kicks and punches and love for their siblings. He's not really in a dire need of money, but he might pay the bank a visit while on a patrol, or something?

Meanwhile, Ramza is a police bro. Due to workload I was forced to drop one of their threads before it even properly started, but maybe they'll find an opportunity to do super secret law enforcement things with the arrival of the event. The cinnamon roll has to live.

Selphie not only bears a rather strong resemblance to one of his sisters, but they also happen to have similar backgrounds, both being orphans enrolled in military schools governed by Evil Looking Moms™! He's not much of a responsible adult, but he could still be of some use if you'd ever be in need of a police officer and his boring, motivational speeches. Idk, I'd just be interested to see where these two would end up, so I'm fine with anything!

You're right, he's not going to be open to talking about it - at least not easily but he has woken up to the fact that there do seem to be other people here who are concerned about his well being for no apparent reason other than he's having a rough time so I hope that along with the Cluedo event it'll now start to help him just-a-little more open.

There are issues, and they do need talking about. This is the hurdle I think I need to get over with him currently. It's all about -HOW- at this point orz.

Any ideas for where they could potentially run-in? Or maybe we can both keep an eye out for when the event stuff is announced?

I'm working on a situation where his Moogle desperately tries to trick Heroes of Light into looking for him and bothering him while he's working in the middle of the night! Is that something Akane would be into? I also think you're Chrom's player, I kind of want to keep tagging him because I feel bad about how Dylas treated him, haha.

Dylas actually doesn't stay in the apartment, forcing him in there would have been too OOC for me to have him do, so he stayed outside until he found enough odd jobs to start staying at an inn. He doesn't really know Akane and probably won't move in unless he has his own room, which I doubt he does since he was the last to move in.

Actually, I think he'd feel immediately comfortable with her because she isn't human, so they should definitely meet again. I'd even be willing to handwave them meeting once or twice again on the street and being sort of okay with each other if you want to jump start CR a bit? For them, I think it'd just be natural snark that ends with dylas being like "s-shut up baka", etc.

edna's brother actually went all monster on her over a period of time. she was one of the few that clung to the idea that he still held onto his "humanity" (they aren't technically humans) even when he fully transformed into a dragon... so she's drawing stupid parallels all over the place on this one.
