1/ Welcome to the world of Crystallis!
You have seen reality shatter and collapse around you, in the depths of the void you found a Crystal and now you are in the city of Aqures Ixen, surrounded by Moogles and people as lost and confused as you are. On the bright side, everyone thinks you're a hero! On the downside, they expect you to save the world. Maybe their expectations are a bit too much. Thankfully, you're not abandoned to your fate as a Moogle explains to you everything you need to know. Maybe it's time to get to know your companions in misfortune. Besides, it seems this has occurred past month already-- Maybe some people who have been here for longer than you may help.

2/ Do you like your new life?
No? Well, either way, you better get used to it, to your new powers, to your new house, to the ball of fur that follows your every steps—Who knows, maybe you'll even make some friends here. Besides, even if everyone expects you to save the world, fighting isn't the only way to do so. Maybe you could open a shop to help and properly equip your friends who are actually eager to fight. Maybe you could try and gather people who think diplomacy can stop war, you could even start your own researches on the Crystals— Or you could make sure your house is the prettiest in all of Aqures Ixen. Anything is possible.

3/ Neighborhood woes
The government of Aqures Ixen is very sorry, but it seems there are too many of you Heroes of Light. Hence why there is no free houses left in district dedicated to housing you. This may also be why you're not alone in the house that was given to you. Hopefully you're not living with a mad villain plotting to take over the world late at night, and hopefully your neighbor isn't a singer who doesn't know how to sing. On the bright side, you may have someone very cool living with you and an artist next door! It's just not likely.

4/ Crystallis de Chocobo
Upon arrival, your Moogle gave you a map of Crystallis. This world may be a bit big for you to explore, so why not go to the Chocobo Farm and ask for a Chocobo? These big birds can't fly, but they're much more efficient than horses when it comes to travelling. Maybe it's your first time riding a Chocobo; it might be a good idea to have someone with you in case something goes wrong. Or maybe the old man at the farm didn't have any Chocobos left and gave you some Chocobo Lure© so you can go and capture your own. You can find details on Chocobo Capture here.

5/ A thing called Mognet
Hopefully you weren't used to Internet and cellphones back home. Otherwise, you might be a tiny bit confused when your Moogle returns to you with a stack of letters. Or maybe someone else's Moogle is coming to you with a voice message it learnt by heart and is now going to recite to you with a lot of Kupo. That's how the "network" works here.

6/ A thing called Strike
In spite of how old-fashioned it is, Mognet is very useful and odds are that you may have become dependent on it. Hopefully not, because one local tradition seems to be Mognet Strikes. Nobody knows any more whether the Moogles have legitimate reasons to go on strike or if they are just lazy. But today, Mognet is down, and to get information you have no choice but going to the public board in the third district or in taverns.

7/ I believe I can fly~
You are on an Airship! Airships regularly depart from Aqures Ixen and stop by most major cities in the world, so they're the perfect means of transportation for you to go and explore this world. You can go anywhere in a matter of hours — One can only hope you don’t have motion sickness.

8/ Exploration
Enough expository banter. Now is the time to explore. Maybe rather than spending most of your time in Aqures Ixen, you'd rather spend it living in Balicea, or betting on Chocobo Races in Trano Golsaucia. Or maybe you'd rather go and explore some ancient ruins that may hold some precious information. With Airships and Chocobos at your disposal, you can go nearly anywhere that isn't under imperial control; unless you have a death wish of course.

9/ Random Encounter
You were minding your own business walking around, and suddenly monsters attacked you! Time to put to use the skills you've learned with your Jobs! Alternatively, maybe this encounter isn't random at all, and you have been sent on a mission to kick some imperial asses in the war confronting the Heran Empire and the Republic of Esdham. Good luck!

10/ Getting Jobs is hard
It all started when you asked Jessie to give you a new Job. What could and should have been a formality, quickly turned into a trial. All you wanted was a Job, and here you are in the wild, hunting for a Malboro Vine. Or maybe you are in some ancient and decrepit ruins looking for an artifact. Or yet again, maybe she simply asked you to assist her in her researches on the Crystals. Getting new Jobs is not easy. Consider yourself happy though, at least you don't have to do that alone.

11/ The world is subject to unrelenting pain and suffering…
This is why you should play a game. After all, there are things a lot more important than saving the world: Blitzball is one of them. Triple Triad is another. Why don't you take a break and do something different for once; anyone wanting to play Blitzball is given a special potion allowing them to breath underwater, whereas someone who wants to play Triple Triad should have no difficulties finding veterans more than happy to get rid of their low level cards.

12/ Events of the Past
Missed an event you would have liked to participate in? The Test Drive Meme is the perfect place to play this event without being restricted by the game's chronology! Maybe you would have liked to capture a Chocobo during Crystalis de Chocobo, maybe you would have liked to be lost and attacked from all sides in the creepy Magitek Research Facility. Or maybe you would have liked to regain your true power and subsequently be on your path to death, as in The Night of the Thirteen Moogles.

Given what he'd just done, he'd expected darkness. Endless dark actually. It's when he sees the red among the dark that he suspects things haven't quite happened as he thought they would. He also knows well enough the feeling of the compulsion that impels him to reach out toward that sole patch of color and warmth. Though given a choice, his curiosity would have no doubt ended up causing the same thing.

Waking was as unexpected as the sight of the fluttering bundle of fur in front of him. Those who happen to walk by would find a man robed in ivy green locked in rather civil conversation with the female moogle before him. Depending upon when they happened to pass by, they might hear him ironically remark he found it rather amusing that he's gone from being the villain of one story to the hero of another one.

The Chocobo's are an interesting creature. He's seen them around the place these last few days and given their importance has decided to set about the task of actually acquiring one for his own personal use. Hopefully luck will be on this side and succeeding in this task won't take him most of the day to accomplish.

Knowing his luck, he's bound to end up meeting enemy creatures in the process of this. Which while he might not have worried about his ability to take care of himself back 'home', here he's very much mortal and has no abilities beyond these so called jobs he's been granted.

While the paladin is somewhat useful in itself, the illusionist seems to be lacking, though according to Isabella that may change should he find himself an ally to fight beside. Once he's finished with this, he may look into seeing about how to go about gaining something more useful to pair with the paladin.

"But that is not how time works, is it?"

Her eyes widen and her hand goes up to cover her mouth, "Oh my, I had not considered time would move in a way that trapped people here! I merely assumed it was linear. To think that it could be such a beast..."

It felt like she was carrying two Wayfinders now. The real one that she made and the crystalline one, although that one looked more like the fruit it was based off of. To keep it safe, it got it to hook onto the charm and she had pocketed them both. Her Moogle, Marina, was patient and quiet as her Hero figured herself out for the moment.

She had been in the Realm of Darkness for so long, although just how long it had been, she couldn't say. And then, something strange had happened and it felt as if the very fabric of reality had torn open all around her. It wasn't a Door that led her from that place but it also didn't lead her home. She just hoped that Ventus was still safe, and what of Terra? She never could find out if her work had helped him. What she did know was that the boy, Sora, had stepped in and started to make things right. But it had been hard, knowing that there was nothing she could do to help.

"Master Aqua?" Her moogle interrupted her thoughts and she looked up, she had reached for her Wayfinder without realizing it, holding it tight. "Are you alright? Perhaps we should get going, so I can explain things to you."

"Please, just call me Aqua," She smiled kindly at her new friend. "I'm alright, just... thinking. But don't worry, I'll be fine. Please, continue your explanation."

"Well dear, that's what I was made to do." she says, turning about, letting the moogle free from her bosom, the modified cloaks of the Black Mage fluttering in the wind.

Her hair billows behind her while she puts on her best 'scary' face she has in years as she brandishes her long nails by her lips "I was made to destroy everything I see before me."

"I can't say. This place... it has a resemblance to my home. The talk of crystals, these ships, those birds." she points down, presuming some yellow dots below are Chocobo.

"But... at the least, there's family here. And that matters much much more than where home is."

She huffs, "Now why couldn't they put us in the same house. We're in this situation again."

"Hmm?" it doesn't seem like she entirely knows what he's talking about, but then again, having to look down...

"It's what's comfortable. If they're going to take my clothing away, and give me this of all things instead... I'd rather wear nothing at all. It's a far better sight anyway, isn't it?" she says, standing proudly, despite that her hair does well enough keeping her covered.

The Red Mage robes were familiar and comfortable on him, and Ingus dipped his head to adjust his hat minutely. This world was... Well. After all he and the others had been through, after finding the world beneath, he thought that they'd freed it, and then everything had...shattered. The world had broken apart around him, and then there had been a friendly little Moogle waking him up. She'd kupo'd at him cheerfully, explaining the whole situation, and it just seemed impossible. He and his friends had been prophesied as the Heroes of Light, and however strange that had been, it had made sense, had felt right. But now he wasn't one of four, he was apparently one of many, and the story and prophecy were different.

"Where to now?" he asked softly, and his little Moogle bobbed cheerfully along at his side. He hadn't named her yet, but he was thinking of perhaps naming her Aria.

"Well, where do you want to go, kupo?" She did a circle in the air, little wings fluttering.

Ingus was used to living with others, first in the barracks of Sasune castle, and then with his friends as they quested across the world. The sheer...diversity of the people that he lived with now, well, that was the interesting thing. Ingus simply did his best to be polite and courteous to all, and not get himself or his few things in the way.

He leaned up against the railing of the airship, closing his eyes as the wind blew through his hair. This ship was different from the one that he had flown before, but the feeling of the travel was much the same. There was so much to see in this new land, and he wanted to journey across it all. He'd lost the chance to see all of the surface world of his home, and he didn't want to lose the chance here. And perhaps it could allow him to find out more about what he was supposed to do here, how he was supposed to help save this world.

The Realm of Darkness was known for its bits of light. But never had it drawn so much light that the very fabric of reality shattered. For a moment, she thought Sora had done it and she was freed finally. But that was not the case, it seemed, and the boy would have to fight without her for a little while longer as she gathered her wits, here at the Crystal of Fire. She was certainly wearing a bit of armor as well, reminding her of her Keyblade Armor a little. At least it was in blue, her signature color.

"Hello there, Master Aqua," A small voice came from behind.

Aqua turned and found herself looking at a pale pink moogle. It wore little glasses on its nose and held her Wayfinder in its tiny paws. "I believe this is yours, kupo, it fell when you arrived. My name is Marina, a pleasure to meet you, kupo."

Aqua retrieved her charm and smiled warmly at the moogle. "Please. Aqua is just fine, Marina. It's a pleasure to meet you as well. Can you tell me where I am?"

Marina nodded with a smile and soon, began to tell her Hero the tale of her new destiny here in Crystallis.

Ingus was caught by the comment the man he was passing had made, and he could not help but pause, his own little moogle hovering beside him as his pace slowed. Blue eyes glanced over at the older man in ivy green, and his own red head dipped a moment in thought before he spoke. True, it was perhaps rude to speak without introduction, but was he not to meet and work with the other Heroes of Light who had been summoned? And by this man's words, he was one of those Heroes.

"Your pardon, but what do you mean by such a comment?" he asked politely.

Gold turns his attention from the moogle before him to the younger man beside him now. He was tempted to respond to the question with 'And which comment would that be, dearie?' , but refrained letting his mind retrieve the last words he'd said that might have attracted attention.

"In another world or story if want, I was considered something of a villain for actions I took to achieve a certain goal. It would appear that perhaps since I managed to complete that goal and sought to redeem myself by saving my family, I've ended up apart of another tale in this world. Isabella here," He paused to indicate the moogle before him with a flourish of a hand. "has been telling me that due to being brought here in the manner I have been and being in possession of this interesting crystal trinket, I'm supposed to be some sort of hero."

The wry humor in his voice as he says the last statement perhaps shows that he's still getting over the irony of his swapping sides. Yes, he'd wanted to do something right for a change, to be the hero for his family. He hadn't expected that desire to save him from death and land him here in this place as an actual hero.

Gold's own moogle is wrapping up her own explanation when he overhears the conversation not to far away from them. He still keeps part of his attention on what his moogle is saying but his eyes have shifted off the flying furball to look toward the source of the conversation. The blue hair catches his eye and he can't help but wonder if it's natural or dyed.

Aqua might notice his attention focused on her, though he makes no move currently to speak with her, even if he's finished listening to Isabella. He's willing to wait until she's finished speaking and listening to her own companion. While he does have more questions for the moogle, they're more about day to day things he'll have to deal with. Mundane matters that can wait for now.

Right now he's curious to speak to another one of these Hero's that have arrived here. To find out what sort of experience she'd had prior to coming here and if there is any sort of common thread in these 'summoned' saviors of this world.

The young Red Mage took in the words thoughtfully, nodding after a moment. "I see, or at least I hope that I do. The story that has been spun before us is...strange, especially for me. You see, I and my companions were told of a situation much the same as this - only the story that we were told was of only four Warriors of Light, not as many of as seem to be around here." He shook his head slowly, hat sweeping back and forth.

"The Warriors of Light, back where I come from, were those chosen by the Four Crystals, or at least so we had discovered so far. They were chosen when Light or Darkness overwhelmed the world, and brought it back into balance," he said softly. Ingus nodded again. "The story here seems more oriented toward Heroes of Light in general, when in my world, a thousand years ago Light had been overrunning the world, and so four Warriors of Darkness were chosen." The blond smiled then at the older man. "This world seems as though it is in peril from some force, or so Aria tells me. So it seems that we have all been called to aid it. If you were a villain in your previous story, I imagine that you have been judged redeemed, if the light of the crystals has touched you."

Aqua was aware of the eyes on her, but she decided to let Marina continue on until she was finished. Once she was done, Aqua smiled and nodded. She would have to digest this at a later date. A Hero of Light was something she had heard before, but not quite like this.

Finally, she turned to address the older gentlemen. "Can I help you, sir?"

"I agree there. Nothing is as I'm used to back on my own world, but I guess that's not too surprising. It takes everyone a few days to adjust from what I've heard."

[She laughs brightly, but there's a note of sadness about her. Memories are all she has. That hurts.]

Well, you can't live a full life afraid of something so basic, right? I'm a lot better than I used to be. And I'm sure your friend will adjust too.

She didn't ever go out of her way to see those who woke up in the city but now she was more curious. She was still learning so many things and maybe knowing what worlds everyone came from was a start. Yeul stood at the edge of the area where the fire crystal greeted those new heroes waking up. She watched at first, listening to the reactions from everyone as their moogles explained their new situation.

Hibscus, her moogle, floated silently next to her and occasionally scribbled notes on a piece of paper.

Yeul over heard the man's comment about villains and she couldn't help but walk closer. How do you really know what side you are on? She stopped next to the man watching his expressions curiously. "Isn't the villain still the hero of his own story?"

"Maybe I can help some?"

Zelda didn't mean to come up behind him but she had been on her way home when she spotted the new heroes. Time has been slipping away from her but she wanted to greet and help those who first arrived.

"Yeah now help me cut it down." Yuffie didn't know what was up with this guy but she was determined to see what was in the trap.

She climbed up the tree and then positioned herself over top the hanging weave of ropes that was used to catch the creature. "Ready?" No way of knowing what was coming out of it.

Yuffie wasn't one for seeing the new heroes but the charm in the moogles hand caught her eye. So she used her new ninja skills and snuck up on the pair. It was easy to be silent but it has gotten easier the more she has practiced it. She dashed in between the pair and swiped the charm from Aqua's hand.

She didn't make some big escape or anything. Yuffie stopped a yard or so away and look curiously at the trinket. "What is this?"

After the short inspection she turned towards Aqua curiously. "It showed up with you?"

Yuna blinked a few times and then just shook her head. This person was strange but it wasn't anything bad. She smiled slightly and tilted her head to the side. "Well that's good. My name's Yuna by the way. It's nice to meet you."

I do but that almost makes it worse.

[Yuna looks up at him with a strong smile.]

This place is very similar to my home but without the friends I once had. I mean a few of them are here but they remember things differently than I do.

[She doesn't fit in here but she knows once she returns home she might not fit in their either.]

Elan drew his sword. "Let her rip!"

Yuffie flicked a blade into her hand and quickly sliced the cord holding the creature at bay. A large bird like monster flew from the net almost making Yuffie fall from her perch on the branch.

"What is that thing!"

"Yes, linear time is a thing that I believe will take a few days to experience to truly understand."

"Oh, hey, I was looking for one of those! Help me grab its tail feathers! Here birdie, birdie birdie!"

This at least managed to startle the monster into not attacking, by sheer confusion. This wasn't what humans were supposed to do. It wasn't going to last long, as it remembered that someone trapped it in a net...
