Aria's choice to push them out of the way of the attack had hurt, but he had understood her motivations. It was the fact that he had been pulled away from his own quest, the quest to save his own world, all so that he could save another with a legend that was hauntingly familiar... That rankled, though he would not admit it.
There was a faint flush of embarrassment on his cheeks as she opened the door for him, rather than the other way around, but he stepped through with no more than a minor hesitation.
