Inspector Hildibrand | Final Fantasy XIV

[Hildibrand cares not for your prompts!

No, really, the moment he arrives in this strange new world, he promptly ignores (in a polite, gentlemanly fashion) any attempts to guide or direct him, so great is his need to immediately explore. His assistant is not here, a distressing fact, but more importantly, just look at this place! There's so many people, so many... strange people, like seriously, are those moogles? Those are real? And what outlandish clothing the Hyurs wear, and... are those even Lalafell? They're short like them, but they don't look the same!

Needless to say, this sudden transition to a bizarre new land is unsettling, and it's completely amazing! For a grand Inspector like Hildibrand, there is nothing greater than a grand mystery such as where on Eorzea he is, why he got there, and if these people need any help with their woes. Even in the most trying of times such as this, a gentleman must always be aware of the needs of the people, ever ready to come to their aid. There's just so many people here, though, where is a lone gentleman inspector to begin?

Why, by finding a suitably dramatic place to make a proclamation of his intentions, of course. That giant crystal that doesn't look like any Aetheryte he's ever seen looks like a good place to come by and introduce himself.]

Ahem, may I have your attention, please! Greetings, people of... wherever this is! I am Inspector Hildibrand, agent of inquiry, inspector extraordinaire! [What follows is his grand bow, a gesture that begins with him turning to the side with one arm twisted up, one twisted down. Naturally, there's a grand smile on his face.] I am here to help you! [And here comes the other half of his bow, faced forward with both arms curved down to make roughly a circle in front of him.] Should anyone need the aid of Eorzea's foremost master of the sleuthing arts, I urge you not to dally! Come forward and be heard, and I will see your needs met!
