Angeal wasn't about to sneak up whenever it came to meeting up with old friends. While it was part of the SOLDIER training, it wasn't a part of his personality. However, he was in the warrior job class which was a contrast to Genesis' scholar class. At the very least, he could protect his childhood friend.

The very idea of being reunited with is friend helped soothe his displaced thoughts. At least it made the transition easier. Angeal wasn't much for staying in places in idle when he was better suited to work. He wasn't raised to stand around twiddling his thumbs whenever there was something to do outside of the town. It was certainly a big reason why he wanted to join SOLDIER. It was engrained into him to fight.

He spotted Genesis in the dark. He recognized his shadowy sillouhette anywhere. The sight reminded him of Banora without the trees. Oh, how he missed the trees. He stepped up toward Genesis though he kept his distance just the same just in case he happened to startle Genesis. "Nice night for a stroll."

His trademark buster was still on him though it was a bit too heavy to use until he had more training. For now, he had decided to settle on a lighter sword that remained sheathed at his side.
