1/ Welcome to the world of Crystallis! You have seen reality shatter and collapse around you, in the depths of the void you found a Crystal and now you are in the city of Aqures Ixen, surrounded by Moogles and people as lost and confused as you are. On the bright side, everyone thinks you're a hero! On the downside, they expect you to save the world. Maybe their expectations are a bit too much. Thankfully, you're not abandoned to your fate as a Moogle explains to you everything you need to know. Maybe it's time to get to know your companions in misfortune. 2/ Do you like your new life? No? Well, either way, you better get used to it, to your new powers, to your new house, to the ball of fur that follows your every steps—Who knows, maybe you'll even make some friends here. Besides, even if everyone expects you to save the world, fighting isn't the only way to do so. Maybe you could open a shop to help and properly equip your friends who are actually eager to fight. Maybe you could try and gather people who think diplomacy can stop war, you could even start your own researches on the Crystals— Or you could make sure your house is the prettiest in all of Aqures Ixen. Anything is possible. 3/ Ukulele de Chocobo Upon arrival, your Moogle gave you a map of Crystallis. This world may be a bit big for you to explore, so why not go to the Chocobo Farm and ask for a Chocobo? These big birds can't fly, but they're much more efficient than horses when it comes to travelling. Maybe it's your first time riding a Chocobo; it might be a good idea to have someone with you in case something goes wrong. Or maybe the old man at the farm didn't have any Chocobos left and gave you some Chocobo-Bait© so you can go and capture your own. 4/ A thing called Mognet Hopefully you weren't used to Internet and cellphones back home. Otherwise, you might be a tiny bit confused when your Moogle returns to you with a stack of letters. Or maybe someone else's Moogle is coming to you with a voice message it learnt by heart and is now going to recite to you with a lot of Kupo. That's how the "network" works here. 5/ I believe I can fly~ You are on an Airship! Airships regularly depart from Aqures Ixen and stop by most major cities in the world, so they're the perfect means of transportation for you to go and explore this world. You can go anywhere in a matter of hours — One can only hope you don’t have motion sickness. 6/ Exploration Enough expository banter. Now is the time to explore. Maybe rather than spending most of your time in Aqures Ixen, you'd rather spend it living in Balicea, or betting on Chocobo Races in Trano Golsaucia. Or maybe you'd rather go and explore some ancient ruins that may hold some precious information. With Airships and Chocobos at your disposal, you can go nearly anywhere that isn't under imperial control; unless you have a death wish of course. 7/ Random Encounter You were minding your own business walking around, and suddenly monsters attacked you! Time to put to use the skills you've learned with your Jobs! Alternatively, maybe this encounter isn't random at all, and you have been sent on a mission to kick some imperial asses in the war confronting the Heran Empire and the Republic of Esdham. Good luck! 8/ Getting Jobs is hard It all started when you asked Jessie to give you a new Job. What could and should have been a formality, quickly turned into a trial. All you wanted was a Job, and here you are in the wild, hunting for a Malboro Vine. Or maybe you are in some ancient and decrepit ruins looking for an artifact. Or yet again, maybe she simply asked you to assist her in her researches on the Crystals. Getting new Jobs is not easy. Consider yourself happy though, at least you don't have to do that alone. 9/ The world is subject to unrelenting pain and suffering… This is why you should play a game. After all, there are things a lot more important than saving the world: Blitzball is one of them. Triple Triad is another. Why don't you take a break and do something different for once; anyone wanting to play Blitzball is given a special potion allowing them to breath underwater, whereas someone who wants to play Triple Triad should have no difficulties finding veterans more than happy to get rid of their low level cards. 10/ Wild Card Don't like the options offered here? Go crazy and choose what you want to do in this world!

Walking through the streets was as good a starting point as any to get familiar with the place, wasn't it? Most of the writing that they used in their advertisements wasn't something Yuna was used to, but it was close enough to Spiran that with just a little more concentration, was definitely legible. With more practice it would come easier, she was sure.

Which is why she took the time to read over any fliers that she came across, hoping that one or two might offer her a clue as to the current situation, as well as how to get back home.

"Personal... boyguard," she softly spoke aloud to herself.

The Moogle (who really was trying so hard to be helpful) bumped into Yuna in an effort to put up a new poster. It was the muffled, distraught, k-kupo! that caught Semih's attention, and she makes a move to help set her Moogle on the right track, while observing the other woman.

"My apologies. At times he takes on more than he can handle." She offered a smile. Her tail twitched. "Does it catch your interest?" The posters, she means.

"Oh!" the soft impact was still surprising, but when she saw that a moogle was the cause, she couldn't help but chuckle softly at the sight of it. She offered it a small pat on the head. "I suppose I should watch where I'm going as well," she offered, as the voice of another spoke up.

Turning her attention towards the man, she had to take another glance back at the poster. Ah, she must be the Semih in question, then?

"Ah, well... I'm afraid I don't exactly have much money, you see."

Semih lets out a sigh. "Yes, that appears to be a common prrroblem right now." She shakes her head. "It's quite alright. I suppose you're looking for work as well, then?"

She wondered what the woman could be skilled in; Semih's seen all sorts of types, even before she came to this world.

There was a bow of her head as she offered a small nod in reply. "Work... I suppose but -- I admit getting home might be more of a priority than even that." Yuna looked down, a frown crossing her lips at the thought of what sort of condition Spira might be in while she found herself here.

Looking back up, her head tilted to the side slightly. "Are you -- a guardian, then?"

"To get home, I believe we'll need to pull some extra weight around this place."

Much as Semih would like to just poke her nose into the holes and find all the secrets, she still needs money to survive. Archery has never been the cheapest of fighting styles.

"But I understand, of course. I wish to get home as soon as possible as well. I have someone I must protect there, so in a way you could call me a 'guardian' back home." She would give her life for the Star Sibyl, after all.

She listened closely, another absent minded pat going to the moogle's head before she drew her arm back again, biting just slightly at her bottom lip. "I was afraid of something like that..." it was barely audible, but also a hard truth that was becoming more and more apparent. "I wonder if there's anywhere someone like me might be able to be of help..."

Lifting her head again, another question came to mind. Obviously she wasn't the only one plucked from their home to be brought here, which made her wonder -- "Where... is your home?"

The Moogle gave a happy spin at the pats before darting back by Semih's side.

"I'm sure you'll find something, you must have skills of some sort." After all, this place brought in people to be "heroes." Semih wasn't buying into that talk so easily though. It sounded suspicious to her, like there was something else going on. She needed to be careful. "A place called Vana'diel. Thankfully, there are many similarities between it and Crrystallis, like Moogles."

"I can heal, but..." she trailed off. For some reason, since arriving here, she had been unable to summon. Whether it be because the fayth weren't present in this world, or something else... it was unnerving to say the least. It was a great cause of worry for her, but... it wasn't as though there was anything to be done about it from somewhere like this. "I'm not sure I'd be all that useful on the battlefield right now..."

Yuna paused, and cleared her throat. Trying to focus on something not quite as dismal as that during a first meeting. A soft chuckle escaped her again at the thought of the white fuzzy ones floating around so freely. "I admit, before this place the only moogles I'd ever seen were stuffed," she laughed lightly at the thought, then stopped catching herself short and realizing how the comment could have been taken -- "Ah! They weren't real, I mean..." it wasn't like someone was going around Spira hunting and mounting moogles or anything!

"Perrhaps you merely need practice," Semih answered, attempting to be more uplifting. Her own skills, well... they weren't as they had been, strangely enough. There shouldn't be much difference to lifting a bow in one world as another, and yet much to her frustration, something was off. Her good aim, at least, remained. "Learning to read a new land, and the way of the beasts, takes time."

Spoken like a true Ranger.

...Or Archer. She still needs to get use to that.

"S-Stuffed!? Ku..." Semih's Moogle reacted almost instantly, but was quelled just as fast by the fact that the stuffed Moogles were fake.

Semih chuckled. "Toys, then? It's interresting, the similarities and differences between places. A common strrrand."

"Yes," she nodded, eager to take on the new description Semih offerered. "toys would probably be the best way to explain it," whoops! She laughed, glad to have cleared that up for the real live moogle.

"My name is Yuna," the girl finally introduced herself. "I suppose... you might me Semih, right?" she hoped that the unfamiliar name had rolled easily enough off of her tongue, perhaps butchering it just a little in the process.

"Yuna, it's a pleasure." Semih bowed gracefully. She didn't expect a hume to properly get her name right the first go-around, but it's close enough. "Yes, that's rright. Have you newly arrived, then?" It had seemed to be a common thing going around...
