Sephiroth

Info: There was a meme once (Show us the Goods) that I took the opportunity to write a bit about what Sephiroth looks like. He's tall and rather intimidating especially at first, obviously into his fitness, takes great pride in his appearance as well - he had a fan club in his canon!! Also in his canon he is the world-renowned Hero, but later in his timeline will become his own Planet's Calamity.
Job(s): Warrior/Dragoon (10 Months)
Housing: B-04 with Angeal, Kuja and Zidane
Moogle: Moogle Meme

Status: Sephiroth has settled into living in Esdham as part of the military as opposed to getting settled into living with Angeal and around the relatively newer Kuja and Zidane. This backfired over the Starlight period where Angeal slipped into Crystal Stasis and Sephiroth wasn't even told! He spent the end of December not feeling particularly festive mostly for this reason and also for the fact that it's not really something he saw the point in celebrating. He's not sure how he really was supposed to feel about being given a necklace from Zelda; between that and being regained with Hojo's lab coat, Sephiroth still has a lot of issues and par for the course is doing nothing but making it seem as if he doesn't have any.

He keeps a eye out on the Mognet when the general 'To: All' messages come around and usually spends his evenings replying to mail where he thinks his input might be relevant, or if he's interested. He keeps in regular touch with Zelda on a kind-of pen-pal basis and is currently in the process of writing a series of reports about his experiences and knowledge he has discovered in Crystallis thus far.

Employment: He's currently employed in the military at Esdham. Being a workaholic, and for other reasons also, he spends more time there than he really needs to - being as Heroes are only voluntary enlistment. He works very hard and is determined to apply for a promotion soon.

Plans: Sephiroth has yet to return to work after the holidays considering Angeal has only just come around from crystal stasis and it doesn't feel right to just up and leave again in the wake of that. He will be leaving for Esdham again, though, within the next week. He will become heavily involved in the Attack at Esdham plot later this month, and, as per my OOC post just earlier - his absence will be discovered in a follow-up roll-call. Sephiroth will vanish 'MIA' after the attack and will stumble/be brought back in wounded (maybe, not yet decided) when I return from Hiatus after my holiday. If anyone would like to take care of Spencer, from about a week after his disappearance please feel free to do so; the poor guy is going to feel like he's let Sephiroth down -yet- again!

Desired CR: As hard as it is considering he's rather awkward-turtle socially, I desperately need someone(s) -eventually- to knock him out of the rut he's put himself in. People that appreciate his capability/potential as a Hero? People who respect him for him, try to get him to see that his worth isn't all in physical things and that he's valued in other ways? I've said it before, I'll say it again, I'd like to work towards generating something of a 'fanclub' like he has back home; but in order to do that he needs to do/achieve Hero things (or more need to realize he looks good? haha)!
Undesired Things: Too much more negative CR is going to make it harder to get him to open up in the long run so I'd like to keep it at least not-so dramatic? Also, for those who (funnily enough) are adding to the group of people who know about how he's a villain later than his current pull-point, please be careful with the information; he'll probably look at you like you're crazy, but we'd like not to have any Nibelheim's just yet?

Shipping: I'd like to, it probably won't happen easily though, since he's dense as hell when it comes to relationships in that way.
Additional Comment: I am in London and have a full-time job, so most of my tagging gets done in the evenings/weekends but it is usually one or two replies a day at most. Due to a still none-too positive home life I might occasionally nope out as well but I will always tag back, or contact you for hand waving or re-finding what I was doing with a thread.

Sephiroth

I'd like to throw lots of Zelda and Terra at him. Yuffie will probably ignore him for the time being and Yuna is slowly warming up to him. I don't have any specific ideas but it would be nice if he did open up. Though I don't know if he would open up to Zelda or not or one of my other muses.

Also Yuffie will take care of Spencer, even if she doesn't like Sephiorth she likes Spence a lot lol. That or Zelda will always welcome lost moogles.

RE: Zelda, Sephiroth has been left feeling somewhat torn between being obligated to open up to her a little after the gift she gave him but then he's just so guarded and for what he sees as good reasons! Though for sure he's more inclined to open to her than anyone else (out of not!cast) as a result.

Terra - can't wait for them to get CR to see where that might go!

Yuffie - he doesn't care what you think, but she's more than welcome to Spencer-sit when he's gone MIA. Who knows, Spencer might yet get her to rethink what she thinks she knows about him!

AU!Yuna - I love the awkward, but at least it's becoming more obvious he's not much of the same guy that terrorized RC.

Zelda - He is welcome to open up. I think it would be cool but its really up to him/you, lol. What he is comfortable with because she will let him know that she is there but she won't push to much. She doesn't want to make him pull away or have things be awkward.

Terra - I'm excited too >.< More so cuz she is sorta like a walking doll atm cuz she has no memories and very little emotion.

Yuffie - ... maybe Spencer she will listen too but should we choose to thread it out she might just tell Spencer and Mooshoo her problem and be like "there so now what. what the hell do you do with this sort of crap."

AU!Yuna - It will most likely stay awkward but yeah she is seeing him differently which I think is good. He will always probably make her jump a little which is just fun for me. then awkward laugh and a "hi how are you?" lol

Aw, but she's working hard in Trano Golsaucia a lot of the time. Are they going to end up being ships that pass in the night? I could probably find some sort of excuse for Hibiki to write Sephiroth at some point after he comes back from being missing.

Midna is great at slapping people to their senses, but since she's only met him once I'm not sure how much help that is to him! Though perhaps a little more now that she can levitate and reach his face... lol Could be something built up to though, I'm sure! She gets along well with meat-sheilds...... I mean capable fighters.

As far as ou!Yuna goes, I am down for her being honest with him about the war, and that they fought on different sides if he would want to hear it. I saw you mention maybe that he was going to get injured?? Perhaps a bed-side confession at the hospital could be a thing if that's an angle you'd like to go for!

/nodnod - I'd be all for that with OU!Yuna, dissidia-spoilers aren't nearly as bad as canon ones due to their nature. It makes sense to me at least for him to come back injured from Esdham and then have to spend time in Aqures recovering so this could totally be a direction to go in!

I won't etch anything in stone this side of my holidays but could well be on the cards.

Again, Link and Seph would make for awesome practice partners. I'm thinking of having him go off to the military to be more worth his swing for Zelda and the country. As for Tifa, I think a meeting needs to happen some time soon. To what degree and how aggro? Not sure.

As for Luffy, well.. I'll let you decided on that.

Link and Seph sparring would be all levels of fantastic, something for when it gets a little warmer maybe! Doubly so if Link goes ahead with the military thing.

Agreeing as well on the Tifa front, for the sake of Hero-unity and since he's been a firm support for Zelda/Ashe's efforts so far. Try to make her put away some of that hate, maybe?

NGL, I find Luffy the hardest to tag out of all of yours but that's only cos he's so candid. Still, how does he feel about Sephiroth after the whole NOT13M?

Yes. She needs to start to get over all o' that grudge.

Luffy's the sort to forgive and forget. There have been many points in canon where villains from arcs have become friends with Luffy after the fact, so I don't see Luffy really holding it against Sephiroth as long as there is some sort of conversation that explains what was happening.

Are you still interested in Ramza and Sephiroth talking about swords sometime? (He'll politely not mention that the last person he knew to wield Masamune kind of turned into a demon.) Growing up determined to be a hero, Ramza knows at least the basic lore about the legendary swords floating around Ivalice, and Masamune is definitely one.

I am indeed. It's getting the way-in that proves difficult for any/all things Sephiroth however! But I will continue to keep an eye out for an opportunity.

I'd love to interact with Rikku more. She'll be friends with anyone who will let her, and has a soft spot for the quiet ones (especially ones who don't tell her to sit still or be quiet). As she struggles with self esteem feeling like she can't be a hero herself maybe we could build something off that? In addition/or else, maybe she could help with the rut in some way. She wouldn't think a person has to be a particular way to be capable of great things, and she tends to look up to or even idolize anyone she cares about.
