Of all the people in the city Kaiji could have stopped, it just had to be a cop. A rambling, talkative cop. As Columbo goes on, Kaiji's expression falls more and more, until a certain name comes back to him - Los Angeles.

"W-Wait, did you say you're from Los Angeles? So you're from my world! I'm from Tokyo. That means you're one of these, um, Heroes too, then...?"

Kaiji had thought him being chosen was a strange choice, but apparently the Crystal isn't very discerning.

"Have you been here long then? I'm still trying to wrap my head all around this. I'm not really convinced that I'm not just dreaming all of this yet."
