The queen shook her head, sighing, as if suddenly tired. It was clear that she had been over and over all this in her own head, looking for loopholes or any angle that she hadn't already examined. She didn't seem annoyed at all by Ramza's questions, though. Perhaps by explaining this to him, I might find some insight lost to me previously.
"One Biggs is the commander of Aqures Ixen's armed forces. He is a...formidable man, in every aspect of the word. He is also not a believer of the Legend of the Heroes of Light. He distrusts us, as I might be wont to do in his situation. Still, it leaves those of us who desire to help with no way to do so."
