Olivier knows she is going to regret encouraging him in the research facility. She tolerates him for now, even if it's only because she knows he is a useful tool.

I'm sure there will be opportunity for some great/horrible CR between them.

I will definitely tag into that! I's waiting to see how sub-level 27 goes though. Just to make sure she doesn't get hurt or anything.

Olivier will be putting out a Mognet letter about training and sparring interest for the heroes.

We already asked the mods and there's nothing much to find (Except to hear a strange story about how the crystals mysteriously started glowing at the same time coinciding with the end of the last event) so mostly it'll be a visit to the crystals and talking to the locals about them. And possibly some monster catching since they're also working on the monster arena quest.

Not that they are going to be very serious shenanigans considering the both of them. Olivier doesn't know much about the technology here, so we could do er clashing, too!

Not quite that ruthless, with the barking like a commander in a boot camp or anything! He just doesn't really do very well with compassion. He'd bluntly explain what Asbel's failings were and matter-of-factly explain how to correct them.

I agree! I think they just come from very different places - Ashe is used to leading and Sephiroth is, well, a soldier (pun very intended). I think this disagreement over what/not to tell Biggs, Wedge and Jessie is super great and complicates their relationship in just the right way tbh. Ashe would still fight beside him in a heartbeat, she knows he can tear up a battlefield.

I think we just need them to find common ground on something.

Yes please! I haven't read a whole bunch of the escape/rescue stuff yet but I've heard super great things about Olivier on plurk. I actually feel like she and Ashe would make a GREAT organizational/administrative/battle team.

He is so confused. I mean forks make him think of hair ornaments not something to eat with, and then there are the buildings with their thick walls and he is just, confused so much. And he gets so freaking air sick. So yeah, he and her can both be protective of Lydia and also get confused about technology.

And then he will cook for everyone because that is how he is.

Honestly, that is exactly the sort of influence he needs in his life. Kaiji is an incredible dude, but he's got too much of a "woe is me" attitude and his self-esteem and bitterness tend to get in the way of him doing anything. So please, push him. But sometimes he might just push back. XD

I realize that Johnny and Ramza haven't crossed paths yet. Once everyone gets settled back into Aqures Ixen life, they should interact sometime.

I really like the Johnny CR I've been lucky enough to get into so far. Any excuse I can find for Sephiroth to be thrown into more of the same I'll gladly oblige.

I'd really like to more fighty things, in general, with Sephiroth so perhaps we could look out for an opportunity like that? (Before he goes back to Esdham for work that is!)

Sephiroth really appreciated Hibiki coming to visit him in the hospital so I guess now if/when he sees her around he may well be less stone-wall-y.

Also, he's going on the Wind/Water Shrine trip so I guess we could do a thread in TC if she'll be there at that time?

Info: A high school kid with his head in the clouds 95% of the time. Loves mountains and biking up them! But here, there are no bikes! TRAGIC!
Job(s): Dragoon/Illusionist
Housing: House B-08 in the 14th District
Moogle: Tia. She is the type that will do anything to get the job done. (Especially when it comes to teaching her Hero about this world...)

Status: While being stuck as a prisoner in a hospital-research-facility-thing was far from the warmest welcome, Manami is the type who (on the surface at least) bounces back fairly readily. He's not really interested in the responsibility of being a Hero out to Save The World (the scope is just too huge). But for now he's content with learning about his skills and facing situations that he could only imagine previously.

Employment: "What do you mean, employment? I'm a student!" Even as a student he's a slacker... N/A until he's forced into something.

Plans: I'm planning to have him frequently in over his head. Challenges that are a bit too challenging. His desire to 'feel alive' takes on a slightly darker turn in this world, where there really are swords.

Desired CR: I would love some sempai! This kid needs people to keep tabs on him. Also, while training is boring, he would be interested in getting into some serious matches with other dragoons and illusionists. (Being out-classed is okay. It's how he rolls.)

Undesired Things: Although he acts like he has a bit of a death wish, I don't want him to die quite yet. Other than that, nothing springs to mind.

Shipping: Hahaha, nope~ This kid is clueless.
