Timezone: U.S. Central time - I work in the evenings and usually either do stuff before work or do stuff after work save for when I'm off. That being said, I am a bit of a silly and lose threads a lot so I really do not mind if I get poked in reminder.

Character: [OU] Kenshin Himura
Canon: Rurouni Kenshin Live Action movies
Info: Once upon a time, during the bloody wars that brought the old warring clans to heel and propelled the Japanese nation into the Meiji government, there was a man-slayer unlike any other. He was a demon, a legend of speed and blood hunger that haunted the streets of Tokyo and destroyed hundreds of people on and off battle. But after the Imperial forces won, and the Meiji government took control, that killer disappeared.

Until a simple wanderer swordsman ran into a loud fencing school teacher and stuff happened. And then more stuff happened, because being around Kaoru isn't the best disguise for someone who wants a quiet life away from fighting, but in the end he got a few pretty cool friends and smashed up a large drug ring, so he is pretty happy about that.

Job(s): Ninja/Warrior
Housing: B-12
Moogle: Koneko is a black and white female moogle who is a bit of a flirt and tends to laze around being a tease and a flirt and really, she's almost Megumi just not being human.
Status: Kenshin is so confused. He's like never seen so many big huge houses, the food is weird, what the heck is he suppose to do with this fork thing and hey, he has no idea where he even stands. He at least can still swing a sword, but that is bad and he doesn't want to kill people.
Employment: he's got his hands full just keeping his housemates from getting sick off of their own cooking
Plans: so freaking new and not really having any plans, although if he is asked he will help people in anyway he can. Unless it's killing. He refuses to kill.
Desired CR: Gimme the CR. You know you want to.
Undesired Things: Extreme torture. He can take it but I am still shaky and do not want to push things. also not looking for any breaking the cutie stuff.
Shipping: He is canonly attached to Kaoru though he doesn't say it to her for a long while. However, it was threatening her life that causes Kenshin to go from mild swordsman into crazed killer so there's a lot going on there. I can see things happen though so who knows. Let's see how it goes.

Character: [OU] Genesis Rhapsodos
Canon: Final Fantasy VII
Info: So there were three friends who fought one day and one of the guys was a bit of a snot and ended up getting injured. That injury didn't get healed so he went on a little rampage to destroy everything and instead led Sephiroth to his own destiny to become a big silly mama's boy and then things got better. But they got worse again and after a lot of stuff happened, Genesis woke up and decided that he was going to protect the world.

Or something like that.
Job(s): Dragoon/Scholar/Onion Knight - he's maxed on scholar and red mage and just starting Dragoon
Housing: B-09
Moogle: Talitha - a rather young and slightly naive pinkish moogle that has been called a lot of different names but still maintains that her Hero is a good guy, even if he is a bit of a drama queen.
Status: Genesis has started to become unglued. One of his huge calming person is gone, and that is enough to make him want to bury his head in books and not come up until someone whacks him across the head. He is also falling into his game of playing 'Poke Sephiroth Until He Fights Me' game, and that's not something people need to see. Outside of the fact that he is learning a lot of interesting things, he is driving himself a bit nutty by not paying heed of anything but his current obsession.
Employment: Genesis being employed is a scary thing. He does make fruit juices and wines that might start appearing in places for the good residents to buy.
Plans: He is researching the Crystals. He is researching the Calamity. He is also making wines/juices. He doesn't sleep unless it's in a pile of books.
Desired CR: I would love to see a mother figure just pounce on him and drag him off. He needs to be challenged ~~not by Sephiroth because they will tear everything around them apart~~ and he needs to have someone to tell him to slow down and eat dang it. Also just in general CR will be fun.
Undesired Things: Extreme torture and breaking the cutie stuff.
Shipping: Shipping is good. He's a bit flirt. Go ahead. Flirt and think of shippy stuff with him.
Additional Comment:

Heeey, Kenshin. Hibiki here cooks Japanese cuisine (well, Okinawan and Japanese) and uses chopsticks. She also doesn't kill.

SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HIS PEOPLE. Although Okinawa wasn't exactly Okinawa when he was living, but still. It would be nice to meet someone with the same kind of experiences.

At the very least, she can treat him to a meal like he's used to! She has no idea so many prisoners were rescued and will end up surprised by that. She'll be coming back from the Imperial City and living along because Yuffie is off being dramatic. I plan on posting a log for her later this month once I see how her NPC thread goes, I could include a cliche "What's that smell?" prompt if you need an excuse for him to wander by or something!!

And he can do the same for her since he is no stranger to cooking. He does it all the time for his poor housemates in the movie. There's even a big joke about how Kaoru will lose him if she doesn't learn how to match her cooking to his.

I already have Lydia thrown at Ken as little sister/friend/person-dragging-him-into-adventure... Any objections, once they meet, to Lydia also meeting/bothering Gen about Crystals, Calamity, etc? She's not exactly 'motherly' but she's definitely used to being the grown-up and sane-person among her friends, so she can make him eat and slow down a little.

Oh go on ahead, bother Genesis. He tends to attract a certain kind of person and is quite willing to talk to them at length about everything.

Just didn't want to overload you or pester. It has also BEEN a while, but I am familiar with DoC. (Vincent was always my fav. in FF7.) ^_^

I'd like Yuffie to confront Genesis about liking him and realizing that it was stupid and she shouldn't let his boyish charms get to her. I'd also like her to have the habit of sneaking into Ken-kun's house and stealing his food lol.

I'd love more between Genesis and Terra cuz I think that would be fun. Plus roommate silliness.

Other then that I'm up for anything. I like throwing Zelda at people in general because she is adorable and awesome.

Gen will probably apologize to Yuffie for leading her on and stuff because it's not his intentions, he just flirts. And Yuffie will find that stealing Kenshin's food is a little easy some days and that sometimes he will leave notes with said food, like 'Please return my dishes' or something. It's not like he doesn't notice, he just is a sweetheart.

Yes, they need to do more stuff together. Terra can also be a reason for him to break of his craycray study times because he has to make sure someone else it being taken care of too.

Zelda is awesome. They should all meet.

Awwww Ken-kun! Yuffie would never steal his dishes without returning them during her next theft attempt lol. And yeah I figured stuff with Gen would be a little awkward on her end and she will probably continue to flirt with him just not like him anymore. Cuz Yuffie is also a flirt when guys are cute.

As for Terra... yes. Tempest is trying to take care of her and it entertains me. I've decided that randomly Tempest will try to teach Terra how to dance, and cook and other things that Tempest enjoys. That Gen might end up walking in on and then Terra using it as an excuse to stop lol. But she needs people to talk to and friends. She needs friends. >.<

YAY! I like throwing Zelda at everyone.

Just because he has a sweet and innocent face does not mean he isn't sweet. The innocent, well that might be pushing it since he was married. Gen would be heartbroken that she doesn't like him unless she will still be his friends. He likes friends.

Gen would probably try to join in with the dancing because it's a kind of exercise. He's just not very good at dancing.

What's up fellow crazed killer? I think we should see if Logen and Kenshin can bring out the best (Or worst) qualities in each other.

Oh yes, they should meet and find ways to bond or otherwise work out issues. Kenshin also had lost his loved one to his killer self (his wife got in the way of a fight though it's a little more to it than that).

Logen may have an actual demon inside of him nobody's sure.

Well. That won't be that much different from some of the stuff Kenshin has seen. Except real demons vs inner demons of tortured soulness.

Olivier and Kenshin need more CR! Maybe bonding over strange technology and keeping tabs on Lydia.

He is so confused. I mean forks make him think of hair ornaments not something to eat with, and then there are the buildings with their thick walls and he is just, confused so much. And he gets so freaking air sick. So yeah, he and her can both be protective of Lydia and also get confused about technology.

And then he will cook for everyone because that is how he is.

Olivier will not say no to food. She can cook, but it's not something she needed to worry about much.

Saying no to food is just wrong how can people do that he will pout or see what he got wrong.

I think that they just both need to get drunk or something and word-vomit all of their feelings out. Probably never going to happen but things can happen. He's still so not passed the 'you betrayed me and it hurt' stage and given current conversations it's made it worse, but at the same time Sephiroth is worried about Genesis' health.

Gen can bring over some juice for Seph to try but had gotten it mixed up with a very potent wine~

That would be awful. I approve.

Though perhaps when he's less likely to injure himself again by falling over?

It will probably be one of those, here I have a new translation from a book do you want to read? moments and he'll bring juices.
