Asbel offers an easygoing smile down at the young woman, not finding this scene at all odd or out of place. He isn't really here for the chocobos, though; he's actually just a chaperone - as evidenced by his regular darting glances off into the distance where another girl is also busy befriending the yellow birds. Maybe he shouldn't have let her wander off that far alone? The little ones seem harmless enough, but, man. He sure hopes they don't bite...
