“Well… I won’t deny my head hurts a little." Really hurts. Still, Jude puts on his best smile, albeit it comes off a tad sheepish. "But I’ll be okay.”

Times like these he wishes he could just use Accelerator – catching Chocobos would probably be so much easier if he could outmatch them in speed, but it didn’t seem like he’d be able to use it here. Oh well, he’d just have to make do.

“I was trying to catch one of those Chocobos! I got a lure from the old man at the farm.” He reaches into his pockets, taking out a purple crystal and holding it up to Tear. “See? They’re so fast, though. Man... I thought I'd finally caught one, but he took off the moment I got on his back.”

Sighing, he hangs his head, once again rubbing the spot where he’d bumped it. But upon hearing chirps, his eyes brighten with curiosity as he looks over the chicks resting in Tear's arms.

“Hey, are those chicks?”
