Yes, yes and yes. I can easily see Vincent developing respect fairly quickly, even if the friendship will be a longer haul (he's been hurt by friendship in the past so doesn't fall into that easily) - and I'll love the side-connotation that Vincent gets to know Sephiroth when he was someone to be admired; rather than the monster he is when Vince woke up in canon.
