Character: [OU] Doug
Canon: Rune Factory 4.
(Think Harvest Moon meets JRPGS. Farming shenanigans, dating, and even some dungeon crawling and plot added into the mix!)

Info: Part-time store clerk. Very easygoing, hot-blooded even, and has a penchant for goofing off and teasing people he likes. And complain about work. Is a dwarf. Yes, really. No, he's not a blacksmith - he absolutely sucks at forging and avoids the blacksmith job like the plague, so don’t even ask.

Contrary to popular belief, is actually an adult in his 20s. Yes, really. Not that anyone actually believes it, what with his appearance and how he acts. He’s probably the easiest out of all my three to get along with, providing you don’t do anything to piss him off. He’s hot-tempered like that.

Job(s): Freelancer with roughly 6 months bonus exp added in. I shit you not. He needs to get out of it quick. Or I might keep him in it and have him be the most ridiculous normal dude with a sword ever.

Housing: A-13 with Cloud. Doug is the best roommate ever. And by best, I mean in the sense that I fear for their shared pantry already.

Moogle: Serina. She’s a moogle Doug took in after the mess with breaking out of the Heran Research Facility. She’s a bit shy and awkward with her words, but tries her best to keep Doug on track. Keyword: tries.

Status: Also been left reeling after the Doppelganger event and witnessing a fake version of himself killing off Ventuswill, though Doug's turned that around into a drive to get down to the bottom of things and investigate stuff full force. He's still a tad touchy about the events that went on in that dream, however, so he may not be all that cooperative if people try to ask him about it.

Employment: Part-time item store clerk. Doug's not especially happy about it, but he sticks to what he knows and is good at. Occasionally can be found sleeping on the counter during slow days. Don’t worry! He’s a pro.

Plans: Doug had plans to go off on his own and investigate the Crystal of Water after the Doppelganger mess; that may still be a thing. He’ll also be helping out Old Man Cid with repairs to the Enterprise.

Another plans is going to interrogate a Moogle. Specifically, the Moogle with the Black Mage hat. That will be interesting. Yuffie will be recruited as his partner in crime, because so far he trusts her the most out of anyone he’s met so far.

He’ll also probably be a part of the upcoming event too, which will deal with his past. As in, back when he was doing stuff for the Empire and whatnot. He won't be all that happy about that, needless to say.

Desired CR: In serious need of more bros to hang out with, man. Particularly the kind he can pull his typical dumb shenanigans on. He’s also good for negative CR (whether serious or absolutely ridiculous), as he’s not at all hard to annoy and/or piss off.

On the other hand, he’s not as stupid as he seems and does take the whole situation with Crystallis, the Empire, etc. very seriously. He is a former spy, after all, so investigative work and other underhanded related stuff isn’t beyond him. Those he can chat with on a serious level are more than welcome as potential CR too.

Last but not least: don’t call him short.

Shipping: Maybe, maybe not? He might flirt occasionally on a non-serious level, but actual relationships will throw him in for a hell of a loop. He's a serious dork when it comes to actual romantic matters.

Truthfully he's aware they were all equally helpless to do anything about it, so Doug wouldn't be pissed at Ramza for too long if a confrontation broke out. He's equally at fault too, if that were the case. So while he might initially be suspicious of Ramza, it'd also be hypocritical of him to hold a lifelong grudge or anything. That much he knows.

In any case, holy shit another freelancer. Somebody else as crazy determined patient as he is to be sitting on that job! /brofistpunch

I love Yuffie and Doug so far mostly because he teases her and Yuffie needs more people to give her a hard time about the stupid things she thinks of. Plus I see him slowly turning into something like a big brother because she will tease him right back. :p Which is always fun.
