2/ Do you like your new life? Yes and no. It beat being dead, certainly. But all this talk about Jobs, yet another Empire and a calamity eager to eat worlds for breakfast amongst other things? He wasn't one to back away from danger, but it sounded as though these people needed to learn how to fight for themselves. And that was exactly what he tried explaining to his Moogle.
"You have to understand, friend. This is not my land. This battle is not mine to fight." He said and grabbed an apple, turning to look at the Moogle "You ought to fight yourself, united as a people. Do not rely on heroes from other worlds to do your bidding."
The Moogle obviously shook his head.
"B-but we need you all, kupo! There is no one else here who can do it, kupo!"
"Is that so? Is there no one here eager to fight? You, there." He turned to a Hypello passing by, pointing at him "Wouldn't you fight?"
"It ish imposshible. I am an airship engineer, shir."
... Well, that qualified as a bad start. He turned to a Tarutaru passing by and addressed him this time. "And you, Aqurean. What is your profession?"
"Me? I'm a teacher, sir."
"Teacher." He nodded slowly and turned back to the Moogle. "And you?"
"Mognet employee, kupo!"
"..." Hopefully these people weren't representative of the city's population at large. Unlikely. And if so... "There is a lot to be done."
The Moogle nodded frantically at this. Meanwhile, King Leonidas looked quite disconcerted. Just what kind of world was it?
