[He laughed at that.] Nay, he was a Roegdyn, a tall mountain man big as a giant you might say. He was hoping to bring the teachings of the Warrior to our lands, so that they may not see us as simple savages.

Curious Gorge poured over the tomes, and together, we unlocked the secrets of his people's abilities. However, one day when we were defending a town, Gorge fell prey to the Inner Beast, a savage ferocity of unbridled power that welled within him.

I turned my axe on him, nay to fell him, but to bring him to his senses. It is the same way, you must rely on someone, to turn their blade on you if you ever fall into the Inner Beast, so to speak. A good friend, will pull their blows, but ensure the lust for power is all but burnt away for the time being.

In the end, Gorge and I, and his younger brother Broken Mountain, continued working on discovering the Inner Beast's secrets, but that is a tale for another.
