His question made her pause. Did she have any happy stories that she could tell? She didn't think he wanted to hear anything sad so she thinks back to something more recent.

"Okay." A pause. "One of those I know here, Bartz. Well, he remembers me but I don't remember him. When he first arrived in Crystallis he said he was happy to see me. Well, I was having bad dreams and feeling a little down. Bartz said that we should explore."

Her smile softened. "He's the sort of person who always likes to just wander and I love forests, trees and nature."

Terra wasn't sure if she's ever talked this much.

"When we walked through the forest we found a woman's house who was selling little trinkets. They were all monsters made out of wood. You'd think we'd found some hidden treasure with the way Bartz got excited."
