He blinked as he heard the woman talking. Looking up at her, there was a light frown. The neighbors...? How the hell could they hear them, when they weren't even talking loud enough! With a sigh, he gave her an almost deadpan look.

"Either they've got really great hearing, or they're listening in when they shouldn't be..."

Was that last part a hint?! ... No, not really (he wasn't that witty). Almost immediately after, however, his moogle chimed in:

"He's just cranky, kupo~ Really, though, he's a sweet boy who always looks out for people~~ You just have to look past his rudeness."

"..." There might have been a light twitch of one eyebrow as he shot Akane a glare (everyone could just ignore that faint blush, too, okay), "Damn it, go find some kupo nuts, or something!"
