Minato Arisato | Persona 3

3.

"Hello, I'm Minato Arisato. Thank you for having me. I'll stay out of your way."

The blunt and straightforward words of the blue-haired stranger in front of your door are made awkward by the last sentence he, for some reason, elected to insert in there. Did he mean to get off an awkward foot deliberately?? No, not really. It's just that he's almost laughably used to this whole introduce-yourself-and-move-in song and dance, he's a bit astounded that the trend even continues as he's pulled into what looked like another world entirely. Things considered it, he took to the idea oddly well? Smoothly? He didn't ask very many questions, that's for sure.

Behind him hovered a puffy creature, flailing his arms a bit.

"He's a bit gloomy kupo! Don't mind it, he's actually nice, kupo. I think. Maybe we should call him Gloominato-kupo."

And, he does a marvelous job... not reacting to that quip either, keeping his gaze on you. Oh boy. You can swear you can see his Moogle sweating too, past all that fur.

"You know... a place like this..."

It was a dark cave the two of you find yourself exploring. The pitter-patter of the dripping water from the stalactites dropped into an unsettling beat, without rhythm. The place was very quiet, and so far neither of you had run into any monsters, which only seemed to serve to build up the dreading anticipation. Did you agree to go here together? Did you meet up inside the place, and just spontaneously decide to team up? One thing's for certain the boy is... not exactly being the best company right now if you're easily spooked.

His voice is low, but he's saying it so casually, no tension in his voice, and neither is there a tighter grip on his sword.

"... It would be something if it was haunted."
