Mere mortals?! Isn't that what I have always been? Isn't that how I've always traversed this life? The lowest of the low, just crawling along the bottom rungs of society trying to crawl my way up! Always reaching, always running, but never gaining. And now this! Taken to some story-book city to be its hero, only to be cursed instead? Perhaps instead I'm being tested. Maybe that's it!

[Graham paces back and forth as he theorizes, and gets faster now that he's on what he seems to think is the right idea. He smacks the wrench off his palm, which gets faster as well. He may have gotten dialed back in Crystallis, but he still has some talent.]

An everyman, a repeatable hero who is just like everyone else. Someone who can grow and change and show them that, yes, they too can do the same! To inspire hope in all those who read of his adventures! Am I really to be such a figure? Do the gods of this world really think I am suited for such a task? Ha, what a sense of humor they must have! They better not be making fun of me!
