The last she'd seen of him was in front of his father's clinic, feeling the final traces of his spiritual energy disappear. After that, she'd sometimes catch a glimpse of him while on assignment, but he wasn't able to see her, or hear her. He couldn't even feel her presence. It had been hard, but it was for the best. He deserved a normal life, and the dead should have no claims on the living.
