Canon: the Thrilling Adventure Hour
Info: Sparks is somewhat gruff, snarky, and generally a man of few words. Those few words are generally muttered under his breath, too. He's also supremely confident in himself and his abilities, and is overly dedicated to his job as the marshal of Mars back home. He can come off as standoffish and emotionally unavailable stoic, but he's not that bad of a guy, and loosens up once you get to know him. So long as he likes you, anyway.
Job(s): Sky Pirate (Gunner/Pirate)

Housing: A-03
Moogle: Red, a spunky busybody who tries to be friends with everyone. Also, Sparks has a pleasant but dumb cybernetic horse named Mercury, who flies.

Status: Same thing as usual: working hard, getting this city back in order, hoping to keep yet another disaster from hitting it.

Employment: Policeman! Sparks is a top-ranked Aqures Ixen cop, so he also has jurisdiction in their major allied cities, too.

Plans: Sparks is jetting off with everyone to the new continent. I haven't had any plans made for it yet, so I'm open to ideas!

Desired CR: Any and all! I can't even predict who Sparks will and won't like easily. XD
Shipping: Sure, but it seems unlikely.

I'd like to get Pyrrha here some CR with Sparks. I considered having her join the police and eventually went elsewhere, but she's definitely the socially responsible sort and would be happy to make friends with and help out the ranking member of local law enforcement.

Chrom or Rukia could totally be down for some criminal justice sidequests. And Rukia will still nerd out over his horse.

Given Sparks's position, if you're up for it, Ellie might try to warm up to him for information and manipulation trust.

This all sounds good to me! But man, Ellie might find him to be a tough nut to crack, but I could see it happening. Could be fun. :D

Also! About taking Mercury up above the clouds - do we wanna log that out or handwave it? I wasn't sure what we should do, since I didn't know how involved it was going to be. If they were just going to go up and be like "nope, all clear" or "WOW YEP, STUFF". Heh.

If you're seriously up for it, I will absolutely get the ball rolling so he can be even MORE emotionally distant when she crushes heart like TINY GRAPE BWAH HA HA HA HA. She's patient, and if she thinks it'll pay off with useful information or access to areas she wouldn't normally be able to go, then she has no scruples about using a little flirtation and warmth.

I wouldn't mind logging it out just because it'd be cute (I don't think there was anything up there so it'd just be an excuse for Rukia to ride a rocket horse and be super thrilled), but we can handwave it too if you're busy.

SOB. This will be both amazing and terrible. He's a good marshal/cop though, so we'll see how this all shakes down. It'll be really interesting no matter how. :3

I should have time for a log now! And Sparks will be around until we leave for the Continent of Ruin, so whenever Rukia's free is good.

Oh, I assumed horse-flying would take place the same day he woke up, or shortly thereafter, since she doesn't need to look above the clouds after the 31st. But hey, they can always meet at the bar if we just want to do some CR with them!

As for Ellie, she won't be TOO mean. Honestly she approves of Heroes who actually do heroic things, instead of wasting time with social events or working a mundane job that anyone could do. But if she has ties to Sparks, she can keep an ear on what he knows concerning The Brigand Leader's activities, and if he trusts her enough, she can have an excuse to get into places she normally wouldn't be able to go.

So lets plot some things re: Mograma? Since Biggs has oh-so kindly instructed Sephiroth to have a direct hand in setting up the necessary security around the little bugger in exchange for a new Job.

Part of me wants to throw up a Mognet post, the other part doesn't? Given not only the questionable security of the same in the past plus he doesn't have the time or patience to answer the million-of concerns there would likely be.

Ultimately moogle, Hero and law enforcement volunteers? Any thoughts?

Sparks will all be for keeping him in a cell in AI, not trusting him elsewhere, especially after Halloween nonsense. That means he's secure and there will always be officers around. What's Sephiroth thinking?

I'm not sure that Sephiroth will find that the productive solution though, given as it's no real change to his circumstances from when he was at Esdham and unlikely to inspire the kind of cooperation they (he) really want. He might take it upon himself to try and lay out some 'conditions' with Mograma and Sparks (since he's the highest ranked cop?) that might allow some measure of conditional freedom? At least, when Sephiroth does come back to AI from Esdham, supervising Mograma is to be one of his 'to-do's.

I was thinking of perhaps popping something on the NPC contact post about it and seeing what exactly Mograma's stance is first? I was also thinking of a Mognet letter to those in the Military & Law enforcement, to advise them of the situation and perhaps organize some sort of meeting to lay out some concerns/guidelines?

But sure, talking to Mograma ICly is good with me. Sparks did say he'd at least listen to what he'd have to tell them first.

He's very much the kind to convince anyone by simply proving his point rather than 'discussing' it so this might prove interesting!

I'll get that up then, backdated probably til about 2nd Nov due to when he arrived to AI (I guess, I need to double check) and then I'm probably going to go for a "To: all Military & Law Enfrocement, To: All guildleaders" Mognet as it's not opening it to the masses but still communicating the important info...

I'd like to have another thread with Sparks and Zelda or Sparks and Yuffie. For Zelda, maybe something concerning security or even him stopping by or something.... ? For Yuffie... well, I just want her to torment him some more.

Cool! I have few ideas for what him and Zelda would talk about. I figured that it would come to me mid tag per-usual lol.

As for Yuffie >.< she hasn't been arrested in a while lol. Maybe he blames her for something she didn't do and gets put in Jail and then they spend time arguing before she breaks out or is let go?

Well, yes. Yuffie would be working her way out at that point. Really he just needs to leave the room for her to escape :p What would be funny if someone walked in with whoever had done it and yuffie just gives him the "i told you so" face.
