The purpose of this meme is simple: to expand your characters' CR, plot for current & future events and make your characters' lives unnecessarily complicated. I think after the long silence we need to have some CR finally (ha, I refrained from the 'long calm, beginnings of a stir' or any big-R words!) and I think Reno essentially yelling at Sephiroth over Cloud's fate during the event might well have given those gears the kick that was needed.

Sephiroth, thanks to Terra mostly, is damn-well going to try and open up even if it's just a little at a time and I think the biggest thing to settle is regarding Cloud.
