— Reply with a character you wish to test in the game's setting.
— Feel free to use one of the prompts below or make one of your own!
— Tag around! This is a panfandom RP, so don't hesitate to tag both castmates and non-castmates.
— Most importantly, have fun!

1/ Welcome To The World Of Crystallis!
You have seen reality shatter and collapse around you, in the depths of the void you found a Crystal and now you are in the city of Aqures Ixen, surrounded by Moogles and people as lost and confused as you are. On the bright side, everyone thinks you're a legendary Hero! On the downside, they expect you to save the world. Maybe their expectations are a bit too much. Thankfully, you're not abandoned to your fate as a Moogle explains to you everything you need to know. It's probably time to get to know your companions in misfortune. Besides, it seems this has occurred very often this past year-- Maybe the characters who have been here for longer than you may help.

2/ Do You Like Your New Life?
No? Well, either way, you better get used to it, to your new powers, to your new house, to the ball of fur that follows your every steps—Who knows, maybe you'll even make some friends here. Besides, even if everyone expects you to save the world, fighting isn't the only way to do so. Maybe you could open a shop to help and properly equip your friends who are actually eager to fight. Maybe you could try and gather people who think it is possible to negotiate with the Calamity, you could even participate in the research on the Crystals— Or you could make sure your house is the prettiest of them all in Aqures Ixen. Anything is possible!

3/ Neighborhood Woes...
The government of Aqures Ixen is sorry, but there are too many of you Heroes of Light. Hence why there are no free houses left in district dedicated to housing you. This may also be why you're not alone in the house that was given to you. Hopefully you're not living with a mad villain plotting to take over the world and hopefully your neighbor isn't a singer who doesn't know how to sing. On the bright side, you may have be living with someone very cool and maybe an artist of great talent lives next door! It's just not likely.

4/ Crystallis De Chocobo
Upon arrival, your Moogle gave you a map of Crystallis. This world may be a bit big for you to explore, so why not go to the Chocobo Farm and ask for a Chocobo? These big birds can't fly, but they're much more efficient than horses when it comes to travelling. Maybe it's your first time riding a Chocobo; it might be a good idea to have someone with you in case something goes wrong. Or maybe the old man at the farm didn't have any Chocobos left and gave you some Chocobo Lure© so you can go and capture your own. You can find details on Chocobo Capture here.

5/ A Thing Called Mognet
Hopefully you weren't used to Internet and cellphones back home. Otherwise, you might be a tiny bit confused when your Moogle returns to you with a stack of letters. Or maybe someone else's Moogle is coming to you with a voice message it learnt by heart and is now going to recite it to you with a lot of Kupo. That's how the "network" works here.

6/ A Thing Called Strike
In spite of how old-fashioned it is, Mognet is very useful and odds are that you may have become dependent on it. Hopefully not, because one local tradition seems to be Mognet Strikes. Nobody knows any more whether the Moogles have legitimate reasons to go on strike or if they are just lazy. But today, Mognet is down, and to get information you have no choice but going to the public board in the third district or in taverns.

7/ I Believe I Can fly~
You are on an Airship! Airships regularly depart from Aqures Ixen and stop by most major cities in the world, so they're the perfect means of transportation for you to go and explore this world. You can also borrow the Heroes of Light's official Airship, the Enterprise and some characters even have their own airship! You can go anywhere in a matter of hours — One can only hope you don’t have motion sickness.

8/ Exploration
Enough expository banter. Now is the time to explore. Maybe rather than spending most of your time in Aqures Ixen, you'd rather spend it living in Balicea, or betting on Chocobo Races in Trano Golsaucia. Or maybe you'd rather go and explore the ancient ruins that may hold some precious information in the continent of ruins. With Airships and Chocobos at your disposal, you can go nearly anywhere!

9/ Random Encounter
You were minding your own business walking around, and suddenly monsters attacked you! Time to put to use the skills you've learned with your Jobs! Alternatively, maybe this encounter isn't random at all, and you have been sent on a mission to kick some imperial asses in the war confronting the Heran Empire and the Republic of Esdham. Good luck!

10/ Getting Jobs Is Hard
It all started when you asked Cid to give you a new Job. What could and should have been a formality, quickly turned into a trial. All you wanted was a Job, and here you are in the wild, hunting for a Malboro Vine. Or maybe you are in some ancient and decrepit ruins looking for an artifact. Or yet again, maybe he simply asked you to assist him to clean the laboratory. Getting new Jobs is not easy. Consider yourself happy though, at least you don't have to do that alone.

11/ The World Is Subject To Unrelenting Pain and Suffering…
This is why you should play a game. After all, there are things a lot more important than saving the world: Blitzball is one of them. Triple Triad is another. Why don't you take a break and do something different for once; anyone wanting to play Blitzball is given a special potion allowing them to breath underwater, whereas someone who wants to play Triple Triad should have no difficulties finding veterans more than happy to get rid of their low level cards.

12/ Events Of The Past
Missed an event you would have liked to participate in? The Test Drive Meme is the perfect place to play this event without being restricted by the game's chronology! Maybe you would have liked to be lost and attacked from all sides in the creepy Magitek Research Facility or maybe you'd have liked to celebrate the Christmas of Crystallis. Yet again, maybe you would have preferred to regain your true powers and subsequently be on your path to death, as in The Night of the Thirteen Moogles or chase ghosts for a living. Or how about reliving some of your Worst Memories or fighting in A War for future of the world?

13/ Wild Card
Don't like the options offered here? Go crazy and choose what you want to do in this world!

After his team won the game, Tidus had congratulated them on their victory. There were some things he had noticed that they definitely needed to go over next practice and improve on, but right now they could enjoy their win. Even he was smiling to himself, still enjoying the adrenaline rush from the game. Even his Moogle noted the change in demeanor.

"You're kind of smiling like an idiot, kupo."

Tidus was about to retort, when he thought he heard someone. It was hard to hear her over everyone else, but Tidus could've sworn--

"Wait--"

He addressed no one in particular, offending his moogle as he stood up from the bench and shoved a few of his teammates aside. He apologized, but it was distracted, and after what felt like forever but was only a few seconds, opened the door.

Tidus had a vivid imagination, and while his dreams tended to be a little more surreal and hazy, he had to rub his eyes a few times just to make sure he wasn't dreaming. It seemed like the kind of thing he'd dream about.

He was unable to stop a complicated mess of emotions from welling up in his chest. He remembered her. And the last time he had seen her, he'd...

"Yuna?"

His voice was hushed, as if he wasn't sure she was actually there.

There was a pleading look in her eyes as she tried to bargain with the security that kept her locked out, but when she heard her name called in those familiar tones, the only thing she could look at was him.

As soon as she found him, she nearly crumpled to her knees under the wave of relief that washed over her. Not only was it him, really him -- he remembered who she was. Security relinquished as they opened the way for the mage to stagger forward, sniffling quietly to rid herself of those happy, betraying, tears.

"You're... really here," those lands few threads of disbelief seemed to give way as she beamed up at him. She hadn't even had to whistle this time.

“Of course I am. I’m your Guardian, right? I’ll always follow you!” He smiled, his voice more subdued than before but with its usual confidence. The urge to apologize for leaving, and then forgetting everything, it was strong but he was just so damn relieved to see that she was here, and relatively? all right.

He had always thought that it was really possible he wouldn’t see any of them again. It hadn’t been something he had accepted so much as chosen to ignore, immersing himself in Blitzball, jobs, whatever he could to keep him from dwelling on the fact. He would have been better even if one of those people he barely knew fighting for Cosmos had been here. They had been enemies and barely interacted, but at least it would have been proof.

He hadn’t liked to think he ever considered Yuna an enemy. But at some point he had, just like at some point he moved closer to her. He wasn’t sure when, but he realized he was afraid. He didn’t want to be separated from her again.

There were just so many words and things he wanted to convey, but they were a messed up jumble, and the only thing he could manage to say to her now without...without crying, was, “I’m really glad you’re here, Yuna.”

There was a laugh at the guardian comment. That cemented it all for her even more, and this time, she actually had to wipe away at the corner of her blue eye to stop it from brimming over. "Anywhere... I go, right?"

All those times she had resigned herself that she wouldn't see him again -- at least not until she found a way back to Spira somehow, the worry and the sleepless nights that had come with those unhappy thoughts... all of it washed away, and she couldn't help but move closer to him as well. Close enough to touch -- even though she didn't dare. "It's me... that should be saying that to you, I think," she looked down, a small, but genuine smile starting to blossom, then fade slowly.

"I... was worried -- that maybe you wouldn't remember," just like last time, when they had been separated. "The last time I saw you, I -- " maybe she should have been more honest then, revealed more about who she was, and how she knew him. Even still, knowing that he might not have recognized her, she couldn't help herself from running towards the locker rooms just now. "I'm sorry..."

"Yeah, anywhere!" He echoed his words from before, smiling bright enough as if he hoped he'd evaporate any tears that threatened to spill from his eyes.

He shook his head, his expression softening into something more...meant for her. "We can both be glad." It wasn't always safe here, but there was enough of an illusion of it. Yuna could see different places here, without any time limit and without intending to walk to her death. That's what it was. He knew it was selfish of him, but a part of him wanted to pretend they could stay here.

He wasn't going to mention it in case she forgot, but since she remembered, there was no avoiding it. He unconsciously took a step back, averting his eyes.

"I wish-- I wish I could say something to make it better. I'm sorry, Yuna. I should have remembered, I can't believe I almost--"

He stopped mid-sentence and waved his hands. "No, you didn't do anything wrong! So don't be sorry."

He paused and seemed to realize where they were. Not that he cared about that, but it felt like forever since he had seen here. "So were you planning on doing anything after the game? You wanna go somewhere?"
