So Duster is going to start looking after the chocobos, and I'm excited for him and this plot.

Other than that, you have the kind-hearted civilian/hero Ellie can manipulate! Depending on his first impression of her, he might think she's a good person deep inside.

Oddly enough, he'd be right about that. He just wouldn't know how right he is until much later. :3 I'll be sure to keep that in mind! The more CR he gets, and the more access he has to things she needs/wants, the more likely she is to use him. Otherwise she'll just help him out with heroic missions in order to keep decent PR going.

Well, he was raised to be a thief, so the "bandit/rouge" thing won't be much of a deterrent.
