Canon: Final Fantasy XIII
Info: Snow is from the very, very ass-end of the series, so he's struggling with some PTSD and trying to learn how to love and forgive himself, but it should be clear to anyone who looks that he's trying really fucking hard. He doesn't have a cruel or unkind bone in his body and is infinitely compassionate and completely reliable, but at the same time, he's not someone to be crossed. He's kind of like the determined and protective big brother type, though he's trying to teach himself to back off a bit and not feel so responsible for everyone all the time. He just wants everyone to be safe and have their happy ending. 8c
Job(s): Monk & Paladin
Housing: B-01 (shacked up with Serah and hoping he doesn't completely fuck up everything in their relationship again. it'll probably be fine.)
Moogle: Motley
Status: Snow is still kind of freaked out by the fact that people around here are going into crystal stasis, because, well, it's happened to him before in canon. And where he's from, crystal stasis is actually the preferable outcome to that curse. The other option is to more or less become a zombie (yeah, like the mindless shambling ones, only with 200% more body horror because they look like giant crystal monsters), and, well... that's happened to him before, too, and he's pretty fucked up from it. And not really all that mentally ready to face the possibility of it happening to him again. Even worse is the thought of it happening to anyone else.
Employment: Nope. Snow doesn't do well if he can't be his own boss.
Plans: I GOT NOTHIN'. HMU.
Desired CR: People he can get on level with and settle in as friends. Snow's a social creature by nature. Like, he's become slightly more withdrawn since his ordeal in canon, but even that's not saying much considering how easily he can still strike up a conversation with someone. Also, people around him that he won't feel the constant burning desire to protect, since he's trying to battle back that part of his personality. Basically what I'm saying is I'm looking for some epic bromances, here.
Undesired Things: I'm pretty open to most things and like to go with the flow most of the time. If anything actually comes up that pings me as being not ok, I'll just tell you.
Shipping: Snow's even barely even emotionally available enough to dedicate himself to Serah right now, and she's the love of his life. He has been through some shit.
Additional Comment: I've been sort of phased out since the beginning of the month, but I'm trying to jump full force back into things. (Also, a big hello to all of the new people! I'm sorry I haven't reached out to you guys yet. ;___;) I might be slow-going at first, but I'll get back into the groove before long!! Also, like I mentioned in my timezone spot, tags from me are going to come at weird hours of the night because I mostly tag from work. sry.

In less than a week's time, Yuna will be taking up employment at the hospital as a nurse. If you think Snow might be the type to stop by and see the whole crystal stasis thing for himself maybe, it might give us a good reason for them to run into one another??

...I feel these two would be good for each other. Even being protag, Luke's got some PTSD issues thanks to some of the crap he's seen. B|;;

Luke's not mentally ready for the crystal thing to happen, either, even though he doesn't have the same reasons as Snow does. He'd be very "oidsflksjdh" at finding out the guy has a personal experience with it, already, though.

Yeah, Snow's kind of like... omg do I tell everyone?? Because he's not, like, 100% sure that it works the same way here as it did at home, but he's convinced of it enough that he's super anxious about it.

If Luke needs/wants to get any sort of info, he's willing to provide. o/ Snow will probably depersonalize the fuck out of it, though. He's gotten really good at that in recent times. :|

Since Rose has been doing research into the Crystal Stasis, they should totally bump into each other on the topic at some point. If for nothing else than for his information to muddy the waters (or perhaps some of the stuff she has learned might help him relax?)

Either way being interested in the same topic gives them some ground to start on

dude yes they should totally compare notes. I've been thinking about maybe having him make a MogNet post about it, but I'm not 100% sure if that's something he's ready to just put out there into the open yet. But yes definitely he and Rose need to find each other somehow...

I would love for Snow and Yuffie to meet! Just because she is silly fun and Snow is Snow.

Him and Zelda's first meeting was fun, hopefully they can interact more. :D

I'm still waiting for the opportunity to have Sephiroth come across Snow and I hope that it happens soon. He's a permanently guarded type as well, but at least he would be one of those 'doesn't need to be protected' types that you're looking for?
