CR Meme

The purpose of this meme is simple: to expand your characters' CR, plot for current & future events and make your characters' lives unnecessarily complicated. Canon: Final Fantasy XIV
Info: Child prodigy who graduated with her world's version of a masters' degree in aetheric theory and esoteric studies before she was sixteen. Emotional and cunning. Once ran a spy network consisting of family servants, but has since learned to be an active part of the information network during Another Side, Another Story event.
Job(s): Warrior and Scholar, both are now maxed.

Moogle: Kupna, general nuisance to her but really just not sure how to handle smol.
Status: Currently getting herself situated in civilization once more, determined to fight this conflict to it's conclusion and uncover the truths of the Calamity of the Skies. She wasn't fond of Kalki's plans and is searching for another way to end it. Not really for the universe as a whole, but those forced to face it alongside her and those who no longer can. As such, she's also seeking more connections - mainly to get the flow of information going amongst the formerly two groups of Heroes, so that they may face the challenges ahead on even footing.
Employment: N/A
Plans: Currently looking to get her into an intelligence network. She's from Old Money and knows politics as well as her esoteric subjects, but does not quite have the charisma her brother does. I'm also going to be throwing her into the event later this month.
Desired CR: ALL THE CR. Positive, negative. Really she just wants to prove herself capable to others and be certain the others didn't die for nothing.

Info: Chronic Bad Life Choices. Former Shinra Class A Scientist and
Job(s): Programmer and Scholar
Housing: B-09
Other Housing: N/A
Moogle: Orpheus. Constantly humming when he doesn't have his tiny harp. Listener and confidant.
Status: Not handling the end of Another Side, Another Story well. Has gotten to the point where she's a bit mmore functional and delving into her search for answers in Palitutu's lab, and anyone who calls her a hero of any kind will get a word or several in disagreement.
Employment: Just recently applied and was accepted at Palitutu's laboratory! It's weird for her being an "assistant" again.
Plans: Aside from figuring out how to handle the rather awkward housing situation, most of my thoughts for her entails digging through records and working through compilcations from her canon history and the Another Side, Another Story event. She feels as though she must survive for those who didn't and that puts her at odds with her own suicidal nature. Girl needs to find a reason to live for herself.

Otherwise, I'm throwing her at the event later this month.
Desired CR: All of it. No really, I'm open to a lot of things. She could use friends and several likely already know her involvement with Sephiroth (birth mother).

Shipping: She's a widow at her canon point. Unless it starts gradually I'm likely going to say "no."

If nothing else, it forces them to talk and actually attempt closure. :) Which is one of the things I want. Let me know also about anything you want. ^_^

Closure is good~ Honestly that's why she came to AI, anyway. Otherwise she'd have just stayed in Mysidia until the end of the week happened.

I think I might leave that to moogles, as while Vincent worries and wants to talk/closure/etc, he also does not want to impose nor is he going to follow her like a lost puppy. He HAS learned, a bit. ^^ ~~Even if he still cares...~~

Moogles o999 Orpheus tried once then just kinda gave up so he may ask Ophelia for help is what I meant, haha. ~~Such sentimentality <3~~

I -should- ask, is there anything YOU want from Sephi-CR?

I'm just kind of winging it, at this point, but it currently feels more on that 'this should make a difference to me but it kinda...doesn't, is that bad' position, from my perspective at least.

Thoughts? Wants? Needs?

Well, Lu definitely wants to be a part of his life. Get to know him beyond the visions she's seen for decades, etc. (She still doesn't believe she deserves to be called his mother because she never got to hold him once, but... *shrug*) ~~Also it's not bad; it's pretty normal tbh but neither of them really know it~~

I'm kind of just winging it myself, honestly.

Hello, new coworker! Jade knows most things about Sephiroth at this point, so he's very curious to learn more about Lucrecia.

Yes, hello! She'd be very interested to know that Jade's an acquaintance of her son but not really pressure him to divulge anything despite her curiosity. Though she would answer some questions if asked.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for a good CR opportunity. In the meantime, SCIENCE.

Moogle: Moglin or "Lin" for short. A bit of a joker, but has a sharp ear and sharper eye for what's needed.
Status: For all his getting over the annoyance at being called a Hero of Light, he's more irritated than ever. Currently he's mostly fed up with the Heroes who don't seem to think there could be other options available than those presented so far, and his lack of friends who weren't crystallized is not helping that any.
Employment: N/A.
Plans: Ira's a bit reactionary in most cases. There've been plans from the start involving him getting used to having a somewhat normal life again (read: what's normal for a Kingdom Hearts character), but those have been put on hold during events. Other than antagonizing others or giving a gentle push where it's needed, I got nothing non-event related.

...Yes I'm also tossing this nerd into the event. Because reasons.
Desired CR: Needs more friends. Also needs more people who will scold him for being too harsh towards others.

Good. I'll have her hit him up for those zippers and what not, and they can talk clothing since he's due for more that fit him better. ^^

We need to figure a solid 'way in' for Ira to get really talking to Seph.

I think the last and only time was outside the to-be Space Saloon that Sephiroth helped Barkeep to build (and has since never been in there, I might add)

Maybe, a random encounter somehow? It's probably more obvious for those that stay put in AI a lot that Sephiroth very much comes/goes with his work.

Hm, well he does go to train a lot whether it be at the now leaderless academy or outside on actual monsters outside the city walls. (Ira hasn't been back to the Space Saloon, either.) Maybe something involving that?

He's also been looking at part time jobs (and growing increasingly annoyed at most of the other Heroes after that video transcript), so... hm.

Sephiroth might use the academy sometimes for fitness purposes so there is that but he's more likely found somewhere to weight train in the sporty/stadium district - dunno if Ira might have caught him there on occasion? ~~Remembering Animus-gym-timez lol~~

Or to just squat/push/sit ups etc when it's been too cold/snowy in Aqures.

The monsters outside on the Aqurean Plains just aren't strong enough to provide Sephiroth with any real training challenge at this point.

Info: Middle Ages Man who makes maps and yells at clouds, is secretly the second in command of an elite group of fighters called the Assassins. He literally helped write the book and has slightly questionable morals when it comes to some stuff. He's also missing an arm.
Job(s): Scholar and Ninja
Housing: C-3!
Other Housing: n/a
Moogle: Tazim; the most helpful and polite moogle.
Status: Going on a "field trip" to Downapolis with Elle to find out more about that cult thing (he's not terribly pleased about being underground again), and is generally getting himself settled in to life.

Employment: none currently, he should probably get one or something.
Plans: Currently playing spies, and there's a plan to meet all the Melodies Assassins (and namedrop his best friend at them for giggles probably). Beyond that... more friends? generalized shenannigans? I'm mostly playing it by ear at the moment. I might have him move houses at some point... dunno.
Desired CR: Fellow scholars! Warrior bros! Teach him about modern things like chocolate and sticky notes! Someone to be awkward about his arm?
Undesired Things: Not super keen on kids, or more goofball characters. :/ he's a bit too serious for things to go very well on that.
Shipping: if it happens it happens! I like good chemistry.

Only cos serious, warrior bros....they could well be. Sephiroth would find it refreshing to meet a newer Hero who's got his head screwed on in a realistic way as opposed to all the over-optimistic types you get.

Info: A miqo'te adventurer who wanted to make a name for herself and ended up with more than she bargained for.
Job(s): Pirate/Time Mage, but sort of vaguely planning to switch around for Magitek Knight and maybe something else.
Housing: A-12
Other Housing: Nothing formal- I handwave she stays places outside of the house at times, but I'd have to settle specifics.
Moogle: Saki! Pretty loyal, and wanting the best for her Hero. Entertains dreams of being a performer sometimes.
Status: She's… managing, but pretty concerned about the whole situations and the other Eorzeans in particular. Baggage from the past isn't helping at all, and the feeling of being torn away from everything important still lingers.
Employment: Monster killing, occasional clothwork/maybe jewellery.
Plans: Formal commissions, trying to investigate Eidolons, maybe very maybe, Weapon stuff? Maybe something silly with birds and/or bombs, because silly things sound like a decent idea.
Desired CR: Uh. People who she can be convinced to relax around? Maybe talking about her baggage will help, but I don't know.
Undesired Things: Not sure.
Shipping: Probably not!
