Um... look, just know someone put me up to this, okay? And that I figured it's better to do this to someone I know than someone I never met before.

Jack gives a slow, amused head-tilt in Ed's direction. Oh, he thinks he knows where this is going. "O-kay, put you up to what, exactly?"

[Jack's amused expression isn't helping this. Ed looks away, brown furrowed, but face still red under that stubble.]

Just... don't get mad or anything.

[Ed lets out a quick sigh to steady himself, then lightly grabs Jack by the shoulders before planting a quick kiss on him.

Santa is so going to get it for this dare. But he'd be proud to know Ed didn't chicken out and just gone for a cheek kiss.

Internally, Jack is laughing when Ed apologizes again. Mad? Oh, of course not. For that brief instant, Jack is trying to give back as good as he gets, but Ed pulls away. Jack can only grin yet again.

"Nothing to apologize for, on your end. I can make that- much more worth your while," Jack leans in playfully, "if you want to give it another go..?"

[What no this isn't how this was supposed to go! He liked it?! Ed looks flabbergasted.]

Wh-What? No, I-- No, that's okay, that was-- That was more than enough for the dare.
