1/ Welcome To The World Of Crystallis!
You have seen reality shatter and collapse around you, in the depths of the void you found a Crystal and now you are in the city of Aqures Ixen, surrounded by Moogles and people as lost and confused as you are. On the bright side, everyone thinks you're a legendary Hero! On the downside, they expect you to save the world. Maybe their expectations are a bit too much. Thankfully, you're not abandoned to your fate as a Moogle explains to you everything you need to know. It's probably time to get to know your companions in misfortune. Besides, it seems this has occurred very often this past year-- Maybe the characters who have been here for longer than you may help.
2/ Do You Like Your New Life?
No? Well, either way, you better get used to it, to your new powers, to your new house, to the ball of fur that follows your every steps—Who knows, maybe you'll even make some friends here. Besides, even if everyone expects you to save the world, fighting isn't the only way to do so. Maybe you could open a shop to help and properly equip your friends who are actually eager to fight. Maybe you could try and gather people who think it is possible to negotiate with the Calamity, you could even participate in the research on the Crystals— Or you could make sure your house is the prettiest of them all in Aqures Ixen. Anything is possible!
3/ Neighborhood Woes...
The government of Aqures Ixen is sorry, but there are too many of you Heroes of Light. Hence why there are no free houses left in district dedicated to housing you. This may also be why you're not alone in the house that was given to you. Hopefully you're not living with a mad villain plotting to take over the world and hopefully your neighbor isn't a singer who doesn't know how to sing. On the bright side, you may have be living with someone very cool and maybe an artist of great talent lives next door! It's just not likely.
4/ Crystallis De Chocobo
Upon arrival, your Moogle gave you a map of Crystallis. This world may be a bit big for you to explore, so why not go to the Chocobo Farm and ask for a Chocobo? These big birds can't fly, but they're much more efficient than horses when it comes to travelling. Maybe it's your first time riding a Chocobo; it might be a good idea to have someone with you in case something goes wrong. Or maybe the old man at the farm didn't have any Chocobos left and gave you some Chocobo Lure© so you can go and capture your own. You can find details on Chocobo Capture here.
5/ A Thing Called Mognet
Hopefully you weren't used to Internet and cellphones back home. Otherwise, you might be a tiny bit confused when your Moogle returns to you with a stack of letters. Or maybe someone else's Moogle is coming to you with a voice message it learnt by heart and is now going to recite it to you with a lot of Kupo. That's how the "network" works here.
6/ A Thing Called Strike
In spite of how old-fashioned it is, Mognet is very useful and odds are that you may have become dependent on it. Hopefully not, because one local tradition seems to be Mognet Strikes. Nobody knows any more whether the Moogles have legitimate reasons to go on strike or if they are just lazy. But today, Mognet is down, and to get information you have no choice but going to the public board in the third district or in taverns.
7/ I Believe I Can fly~
You are on an Airship! Airships regularly depart from Aqures Ixen and stop by most major cities in the world, so they're the perfect means of transportation for you to go and explore this world. You can also borrow the Heroes of Light's official Airship, the Enterprise and some characters even have their own airship! You can go anywhere in a matter of hours — One can only hope you don’t have motion sickness.
8/ Exploration
Enough expository banter. Now is the time to explore. Maybe rather than spending most of your time in Aqures Ixen, you'd rather spend it living in Balicea, or betting on Chocobo Races in Trano Golsaucia. Or maybe you'd rather go and explore the ancient ruins that may hold some precious information in the continent of ruins. With Airships and Chocobos at your disposal, you can go nearly anywhere!
9/ Random Encounter
You were minding your own business walking around, and suddenly monsters attacked you! Time to put to use the skills you've learned with your Jobs! Alternatively, maybe this encounter isn't random at all, and you have been sent on a mission to kick some imperial asses in the war confronting the Heran Empire and the Republic of Esdham. Good luck!
10/ Getting Jobs Is Hard
It all started when you asked Cid to give you a new Job. What could and should have been a formality, quickly turned into a trial. All you wanted was a Job, and here you are in the wild, hunting for a Malboro Vine. Or maybe you are in some ancient and decrepit ruins looking for an artifact. Or yet again, maybe he simply asked you to assist him to clean the laboratory. Getting new Jobs is not easy. Consider yourself happy though, at least you don't have to do that alone.
11/ The World Is Subject To Unrelenting Pain and Suffering…
This is why you should play a game. After all, there are things a lot more important than saving the world: Blitzball is one of them. Triple Triad is another. Why don't you take a break and do something different for once; anyone wanting to play Blitzball is given a special potion allowing them to breath underwater, whereas someone who wants to play Triple Triad should have no difficulties finding veterans more than happy to get rid of their low level cards.
12/ Events Of The Past
Missed an event you would have liked to participate in? The Test Drive Meme is the perfect place to play this event without being restricted by the game's chronology! Maybe you would have liked to be lost and attacked from all sides in the creepy Magitek Research Facility or maybe you'd have liked to celebrate the Christmas of Crystallis. Yet again, maybe you would have preferred to regain your true powers and subsequently be on your path to death, as in The Night of the Thirteen Moogles or chase ghosts for a living. Or how about reliving some of your Worst Memories or fighting in A War for future of the world?

Alisaie Leveilleur | Final Fantasy XIV
[The sensation of all her weight suddenly being placed upon her feet was enough to cause her to collapse to hand and knee, gasping for air when the planet finally deemed that she was not as much of a threat as it had assumed. Once again, she was draped in the familiar-yet-not Tactician robes, aware in a world not her own. As memories began to circulate within her mind once more, of the long journey across crystallized plains and caverns, seeing much and more of her comrades falling victim to the wiles of the world and its occupants.
That's right... It hadn't simply been those she'd failed to save in the caravan.
Dusting herself off, she helped herself to her feet, and was determined to leave the Heroes' Ward--
At least until she was met with at least three security officers armed with rifles. Holding her hands up where they could plainly see them, she slowly backs her way into the hospital wing once more.]
What in the seven hells-? [A beat] Stand down; I mean you no harm!
[We have clear orders to shoot any 'Hero' who leaves without a Moogle! Stand back or we will fire!]
Then send for him! My Moogle friend's name is Kupni, and he will vouch for me.

[It was not a hard thing for her to acquire a few low-level cards to add to her collection by asking a few people who were already playing. The game itself had taken Eorzea by storm, and while helping act as a bodyguard for a merchant caravan, she'd picked up on a few of the rule sets. So naturally, she'd deigned it fit that she challenge one of the older gentlemen.
It was likely a big mistake on his part as the Roulette rule changed to Reversal. With a small smile, she walks away from the match with a few of the man's best cards. She almost felt bad for him, if he hadn't demanded a redo.]
It's not my fault the rule changed to Reversal and you thought to use your high level deck, ser...
[The man looks livid. Help her diffuse the situation before it gets further out of hand?]
12. Worst Memories)
[Unlike most memories others have visited, this one starts off rather benign. Two girls in their pyjamas, one arguing with the other in jest before pulling the tome from the other's hands.
"I hadn’t finished..." Alisaie managed, even as the girl dropped the book onto the pile of her belongings.
Emery stretched and yawned.
"It will still be there on the morrow," she said, and then her impish grin returned. "And it's not as if you didn’t learn a few things today─you made your first sale, for heavens’ sakes! I'm certain both Nald'thal and your grandsire would forgive you for missing a single night of study."
"Sleep well."
The scene changes only briefly after, once the flame of the candle is extinguished. Thunder crackled across the sky as the merchant caravan made it's way slowly through the deluge of rain on the slippery, muddy path that cut through an otherwise impassable bluff. The soft rumble that barely distinguished itself over the din of thunderclaps was the only warning, before the cliff side collapsed upon itself. The young elezen glanced back in horror as the wagons tumbled downward. As luck would have it, her guard contract asked her to keep to the lead wagon where she escaped injury. The others lay there, buried in rubble from the collapsed pass. Her young friend included.
The memory focuses numbly on the face of her friend's-- of Emery's face--before it replays again and again, and the teary-eyed young woman continues to watch. Was... was this what it felt like? To those who held the power of the Echo?]

Wait- Alisaie…? [she straightens, ears twitching forward. She looks the other over as she approaches- Alisaie looks well enough, looks herself. It's not whatever was pulling people out last year.]

[Saki hesitates, but nods after a moment and starts off. K'pandolu turns to Alisaie, tail swishing lightly.]
It's been some time since we spoke… I'm glad you're awake again.

When Alisaie in particular has backed up far enough into the room the guards deemed suitable, they lowered their weapons. Though one always kept a close eye on the pair as Saki flew off to check on the other moogle.]

[Considering the considerable amount of panic she had been in when she'd looked down to see her legs beginning to crystallize, she sighs, lowering her hands at last as the guards seemed to be no longer pressed to shoot on sight. With a quiet mouthing of the word 'thank you', she continues.]
Might I inquire as to how long? [Because the last she was aware, her savior hadn't been crystal nor in Crystallis.]

They were interesting! If somewhat strange- the world Rialynn comes from doesn't seem to have any magic at all. And in another one, there were these bipedal bear-shaped machines all over the place… That was rather intimidating, actually.

She won fair and square. No one likes a sore loser. Now apologize!
[She folds her arms across her chest, looking oddly commanding for a tall girl in a long skirt. It's the same cold withering 'punch a hold right through your head' stare she saves for delinquents. If there's one thing she can't stand, it's a guy who tries to pick on a girl.]
[Lita glances back at Alisaie, and though she still looks like she's about to wring someone's neck, none of that anger is reflected in her green eyes right now.]
