The other's voice was more familiar to him than his own, mostly because Sho was often the more talkative one - the one full of energy and life even after all of the years they spent apart. He doesn't need to look to see the other man's face, to know that he probably wasn't looking at the sunrise when he first spoke. Rather he simply offered up the cigarette without looking over. Things weren't all right between them - not completely but somehow it was better than the self-induced separation Kei had done to them.
