Akane could very much use a positive (somewhat????) role model in her life, so Team Dad opportunities would be fantastic. Maybe once she stops being such a sadsack they can go on research adventures together, collect samples, and run tests. (And she'll try to keep her emotional blubbering to herself.)

Yesss. Jade's going to be so annoyed when he realizes he's accidentally being a Dad again.

I imagine he'll be busy with research in near future, both in regards to the Soul Divider and whichever project he takes on next. He could always use an assistant!
