What is your character like face-to-face?

As we know, icons and written text don't always give a clear impression of a character.

Describe what your character is like in person. What is their body type? Do they have any distinctive markings? Do they have an accent or unique kind of voice? Any interesting type of body language? Basically, share anything that you feel other characters would notice about yours if they ran into them in the street.

While Angeal looks older than the other two SOLIDERs, Genesis and Sephiroth, he's actually not that far apart in age between the three by less than a year between them. His stern appearance came from his strict upbringing through his mother and she was tough on him. His step father died before we met him in CC and his name was never spoken, but I do have headcanon that he was more of a momma's boy and not as close to his step-father, that he still defends even upon his own death.

He's a lot smarter than he gives the impression of most times. With his mother being one of the scientists involved, Angeal picked up her stubborn nature almost perfectly. Like her, he refuses to talk about anything that could potentially become emotionally compromising.

If you want a secret kept safe, Angeal is one person that can do it.

Standing at 6'4, according to the wiki and canon sources, Angeal most of the time doesn't like to feel like he's above anyone even if his height is obvious in telling it. Sephiroth is the greatest and he recognizes this and does nothing to upstage this. In fact, he likes acting as his support instead and he shines brighter in the background than in the forefront.

His eyes, while infused with mako are a deeper bright blue like the sky, but without the mako, like his mother's, they're more of lighter blue more on the scale of true blue.

His posture is proud and straight with his arms folded over his chest from time to time. He gives off a "closed off" feel sometimes in crowded areas to protect himself from getting too close to people that could eventually jeopardize himself and those he chooses to be close to.

His voice has a rich tone to it but it can sound patronizing at times.

He has grown a bit of a beard but not quite as thick as Hollanders. He refuses to let it grow that much and does trim it regularly. His hair has grown a bit longer since his arrival, but he does keep himself very clean in spite of his rough appearance.

♛ did they get a new haircut or tattoo?

No tattoos or other body marks will be seen on him. The only difference is that his hair grew out a little and the stubble on his chin grew out a bit more. He had started to develop a bit of a gut and worked that off real fast to keep himself from looking like his biological father Professor Hollander. Several "nopes" for that look.

Most of the time, Angeal is seen in his freelance gear but there are times he'll walk around in a light tunic and pants. Those combat boots don't seem to ever go away.
