I've never heard of presents. [She has grown up in a country that was at war or recovering from war. Presents aren't something that she is used too.] Should I... [She pauses awkwardly her fingers playing with the trail of her shirt.] .. get you something?

You don't have to, no. Only if you want to. That's... kind of the way it's supposed to work for Christmas. You get gifts for the people you care about, or the people you like... But only if you want to, or, can afford it.

[MarKus can deal. With a lot of things. He's just being a dork, because no matter what kind of Eldrich Horror's he's fought in a robot, he's still kind of a kid inside. So it's like he's half his age just learning to like girls.]

Well, you told me once you fought in a war, or at least something about protecting your home. Why not tell me some, like, positive stuff about it? The fun stuff you'd do. Shit like that.

Fun stuff? [Well that really depends on your definition of fun. Yuffie lightly scratched under her noise as she grinned nervously.]

Well there are a lot of great stuff about Wutai. It's the center of Gaia after all. [Which would only be said by those who lived there.] I want to protect everyone there.

Well, what kind of hobbies do you have. Or did you. I mean... like... how do YOU have fun? [Her home was the center of the world huh? Man, he knows THAT kind of philosophy... and it just makes him look like a dork or a jerk when he tries it.]

I trained a lot, that was usually fun-ish. [Depending if she trained alone or with her dad.] Stealing food before dinner was always fun but my father usually caught me.

Yeah yeah. [She does steal from friends but if they ask for it back she will give it back. It's most their own fault if they don't notice.

Yuffie's cheeks warm as he takes her hand again, suddenly remembering their series of kisses.]
