[ it was a joke, sheesh. Genesis straightens the shoulders of his dress and fluffs up the end of his hair before waving a hand at the piano. ]

But I am serious. Is there a song you would like to hear?

[Joke or not, Sephiroth knows Genesis was provoking him just as usual and he's as annoyed with his sharp retort as he is at how far Genesis went to get a reaction. He should know better than to rise to it.

With the hair fluff, Sephiroth's frown gets a little deeper. Only then he looks to the piano.]

Are you sure you're not too out of practice?

[There is nothing like laying the bait for a retort, as a way to get back and/or relax from the embarrassment of being trapped by the same from the other man.]

[ he is being in character. after all, he is wearing a dress and have a name tag saying 'Mrs. Claus' on his little white and red jacket.

he glanced over at the piano, knowing that sephiroth was trying to goad him and that rising to the bait would be foolish. so instead of snapping, he just smiles. ]
