This was a bad idea. This was an AWFUL idea. Zack had offered to ride with him, but no, he just HAD to take the airship instead. He was so excited about the prospect of gaining a new job that he decided to try to prove himself.
The spikey haired blonde charged up to the deck, slamming the door open and dodging around the other people who had gathered there. He hadn't spotted anyone he recognized, but that was only a tiny bit of armor for his pride as he ran for the rail and voided his stomach out into the air below.
8) Getting Jobs is hard!
When he had been asking how to get stronger, Sephiroth had suggested practicing his magic skills. He didn't want to admit it, but he probably had a good point. His physical skills were decent, but he wanted to find a way he could better support him and Zack. Fighting by their side would be good, but some more mage power couldn't hurt, even as a backup skill set.
Still, Cloud had his doubts about the mission he was given before he was going to be taught how to become a summoner. Sneaking into a dungeon full of Tonberries was bad enough, but retrieving something called the "Paintbrush of Souls"? Tonberries weren't artists! They were vicious little murder machines! Why would they even have something like that!
He frowned as he peered down the stairs leading into the worn and overgrown temple before looking back at his traveling companions, "So...what should we do?"
